^^lol....but yeah, it is sad that immediately all the attention is turned on how Africa is Carlos*ed up and stuff....is like this.. The rate of kidnapping in Colombia is second highest in the world only to Iraq.....does that mean that Canada is a hellhole? do you guys see how little sense does that make? but that is exactly what some people did here as soon as they heard of Togo's riots....that is sad and if you cannot see your ignorance in that statement then God help you...Africa is a continent, Togo is a nation IN Africa....there is a difference...

Interesting response from Kanoute himself:

"But the Malian was keen to point out this was not a problem unique to Togo or Africa.

"Remember what happened in Seville last year (when Sevilla coach Juande Ramos was knocked unconscious by a bottle thrown from the stands during a game). You can't only talk about savages in Africa," Kanoute said.

"It is the same in Europe. Perhaps the police are better organised and the fans can't get on the pitch but it could happen here as well."

Can't forget the pitch invasion during the Celtic-Milan match, either. Not nearly on the same scale as this invasion and attack, clearly, but as he says, this is not a problem restricted to Togo or Africa as a whole.
