Well going one up and with one more man just before half-time means United have to murder Palace in the second half. Great chance to bring Fellaini for his debut.

Other then RvP hitting the bar the attack has been really blunt.

I think defense and midfield is doing OK. The problem is the bloody wings. Carrick is sending a lot of lovely long balls to Young but Young as usual is not creating anything. I think we should play Rooney on the wing and Fellaini as AMF.

what a smart pass by Carrick, how Rooney didn't score that!!!!

good impact from Fellaini and Januzaj ;)

Starting XI
Only managed to catch the last 25 minutes of the game, but it was nice to see Fellaini get some minutes next to Carrick, Rooney back and scoring from a nice freekick and Januzaj looked really impressive. I know it was only against 10 man Crystal Palace, but the our midfield looked more solid.

Let's see what we can do next week against City. I hope Fellaini will start and i don't want to see Young even on the bench.

Disappointing game but important 3 points. We won 2-0 against a 10 man Crystal Palace with both goals coming from set pieces, which is simply not good enough. i wonder how the scoreline would be if there was no penalty and red card.

Midfield (including Anderson) and defense did really well. Our attack wasn't sharp enough and our wings were useless. I thought Fabio had a decent game. Anderson had a decent game but still very far from his best. He should be fourth choice behind Cleverley and Fellaini at best.

I know its against a 10 man Crystal Palace but Januzaj was more useful than Young + Valencia combined for the entire game. Fellaini played well also, better than Anderson. Won a few balls and aerial duels, made a great attempt at goal and his passing was great. I loved that long ball to Valencia.

I am starting to think that we should go with this formation:

Rooney and Kagawa can interchange positions.

haha, yes. I like your formation ... Carrick was so good today ... Rooney and Michael made lots of scholesi passes.
