Carrick should do lots of defensive work, when Anderson/Cleverly are his partner, from what I saw today, Fellaini can do his dirty work and Micheal can contribute more in attacks and do scholesy passes, its still too early to make these judgments though.

I was complaining because we won only 2-0 against a 10 man Crystal palace but guess what. Chelsea lost against Everton and Man City drew with Stoke. (H)

Turned out to be a great weekend.

Moyes on Kaga:

"Shinji hasn't been in that much; he's been travelling back and forth between us and Japan," Moyes said.

"Today, it looks as if he's picked up ‘flu through flying so much and he's been tired. He trained yesterday and didn't feel great. We hoped he'd improve in the hotel overnight but he didn't, so there's no need for us to take the risk.

"We're trying to get him back but we've not had the chance to see him and he's not been here that often, so we've not had the chance."

Moyes laments Young's diving

David Moyes: "I don't want my players diving. I don't want anybody doing it. The boy (Dikgacoi) definitely throws his leg out but I think Ashley has put his leg into his leg. It is not what I want."

Moyes clarifies Januzaj call

Adnan Januzaj could make his Champions League debut sooner than some might have expected when his omission from Manchester United's group-stage squad was first spotted.

His manager David Moyes explained the decision was tactical, as it enables the Reds to register the 18 year-old Belgian as an additional, available player from the third group game onwards. In the meantime, however, Januzaj will be ineligible to face Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow night and Shakhtar Donetsk away on Wednesday 2 October.

At Tuesday's pre-match press conference, Moyes said: "By 7 October, Adnan will have been at the club for the length of time that will allow him to go onto the 'B' list. It means he will become a youth player [for the Champions League].

"If we had put him onto the 'A' list now, then we would never have been able to class him as a youth-team player. So we needed to wait for two games to do that."
