Man Utd make deals with Sporting and Porto for Nani and Anderson

Holy sh*t.

I'll say something to you Man Utd lads. Nani and Anderson may take some time do adapt to England, but when they do...holy sh*t.

Nani has the potential to be AS good as C.Ronaldo, and I'm not kidding. Anderson has the potential to be as good as Ronaldinho.

Anderson in the start of the season was...enormous. He made play like...dribbling 2/3 players and doing killer passes...

Holy sh*t. These guys splash around 50 million euros here and take 2 great prospects...what's wrong?

I admit I'm a little ignorant about the Portuguese League, but for Man U to have payed as much as they did I feel like I should have heard of these guys a lot more before the signings. Are these players really going to be as good as C. Ronaldo and better than Quaresma? Also what's the exact age of both players.

Oh and yea Arsenal need to start splashing out the cash as some others said. It's starting to get depressing and if Man U get Huntelaar:boohoo:

I actually don't really know much about these guys...but you say they do a lot of tricks like Ronaldo? IMO, that's not necessarily a good thing. 3 players like that on the same team could get you in a lot of trouble.

Help?

wow super deals man! I first read "Man Utd sign both Nani and Anderson" on another forum and saw the thread was opened by a crap poster I didnt really bother but then.. :|:|:|

Im curious to see how Anderson, an attacking midfielder, will work in the EPL. Im pretty sure Nani is a sure bet to succeed though.

Nani, Anderson, Hargreaves, Huntelaar.

Super deals by Man Utd, we should give them a standing ovation.

Have you never watched Brasil play ?

On a serious note though, Fergie will control the amount of freedom they have, in terms of showboating. In the same way he made Ronaldo more productive. It wouldn't suprise me if the Glazers had a more personal hand in these transfers, taking into account the nature of how they play. They will relate the skill and flair, to advertisement and marketing of the players, in the same way Ronaldo is such a big marketing figure. They could bring more money to the club. £34 million isn't alot for them, especially considering alot of that will be paid assuming we make the Champions league year after year, in which case we will get alot more money anyway. Glory hunters across the globe will get "Anderson10" shirts (assuming he gets the number 10). The fee is nothing really, especially when you get £30million for finishing bottom of the premiership next year, in reality if West ham were willing to put £4mil on top, they could have pulled off this transfer, and thats assuming all the money is paid upfront.

The fee isn't an issue, and we all know the potential of these two. There is no doubt surrounding whether or not this deal was a smart one, in reality we have just replaced Giggs and Scholes within a day, great work.

btw, just read that Man Utd actually paid the buyout clauses for both players.

so basically Porto and Sporting had absolutely no say.

I think this is great, I think Man Utd's style will get more attractive with these players, as a fan its great news for the premiership. I doubt they will play that much the next year, I think Nani will take over Gigg's role, Anderson will take Schole's.
