Where did you read about those clauses? They seem fair enough, I mean with the hype we're drawing and the unlimited funds, there's no reason why we shouldn't be in the CL within 2 years of Kaka signing.

edit: Nevermind, just read it on goal.com. Meaning it's probably bull****.

19.10 AC Milan have confirmed for the first time that they are considering selling Kaka to Manchester City.

With Milan confirming they are considering the bid, it now seems if Kaka agrees to the move - then City are indeed closing in on the most remarkable transfer coup in footballing history.

I think that's ridiculous. Spend all that money on a single player.

i don't cause it'll be well worth the money to owners who have like 300 billion dollars and dont care about spending 100m on 1 player. if this move goes through then itll make it so much easier for other star players to come to city.

we should give the 25m blackburn want for santa cruz and get that over with.

Yeah the clauses are on a number of sites... not that that should make it any more factual. The crap these guys write to get a sale. But anyway, he would be stupid to turn down such money. And £100mil to Milan would be hard to turn down.

The latest from the sun today is saying

close to sealing their sensational £100million deal for Kaka.

But yeah take it as you will... it is the sun.

yup milan said on their officials news station they are seriously considering the offer and given kaka's agent permission to open talks with man city. if this is all true then theres a good chance the deal is going to happen.

Man City is crazy. In Norwegian Kroner is it 1,45 billions. Well, Káka should be a great sign for you. A blogger on a Norwegian site for football wrote about you and said "I think city will have trouble to get big stars."

I think he have to swallow his words...

I want to grow old at Milan....YEAH RIGHT!!!! Every player has his price.

Now, onto the more important issue. Man City officials reportedly "begun/ignited" negotiations by making use of a ruse. Essentially they approached/visited Milan and expressed interest in the transfer of another player. During this "visit", oh yeah, they ALSO "brought up" their interest in Kaka and made Milan aware of their offer, thereby catching AC Milan club officials off guard. i.e. a "ruse". This makes for quite interesting reading....HOWEVER, I strongly disagree with the club's decision to avoid denying these reports. Presumably they will be buying other players with big money offers.....and they may want to utilize a similar strategy.

This "strategy" was reported by an Italian journalist BUT not denied by Man City. If you, as a club, intend on using a similar strategy in future transfers (it appears to have been successful with their bid for Kaka), you should come out and quickly quash these reports.

So far, they haven't...............

I hate city but would love to see Kaka there. Seeing the likes of Ronaldo and Kaka playing in the premiership with be mouth watering.

I think this transfer will pave the way for other big names if he comes. Will be hard for people to turn down big money moves to a club that has robinho and Kaka.

F*ck me... I just read in the paper...

KAKA has given the green light to join Manchester City after the club increased their offer to a phenomenal £243million

I'll read the rest of the article now lol

*edit*

F*ck me twice, looks official... going to try find it on other sites to confirm.

AC Milan last night confirmed they had received the mind-boggling bid which changes the face of world football.

And we can reveal the Kaka camp gave their blessing for City to approach Milan SIX WEEKS ago when they first saw just how much was being offered.

City’s bid breaks down as follows:

£108 million for AC Milan.

£108million for the superstar’s wages including taxes. Kaka will be paid a NET salary of £13.28m a year which breaks down to £255,000 a week take-home.

£27m in commission to brokers, middle-men and signing-on fees.

The Italian giants admitted on their official TV outlet the Milan Channel they had received the bid in a dramatic bulletin.

To put these amounts in perspective:

AC Milan will be receiving $1,816,261,581,334,336
Kaka will be earning $8,487,203,651,095 a week

*All figures in Zimbabwe Dollars*

In all seriousness though, holy ****. This is obviously very bittersweet for me. There's no denying Kaka loves Milan and he doesn't need the money, but maybe he's doing it for the betterment of the team that he loves so much. And he's done it all with Milan anyway... I think. If anything, the money's persuading him because he donates 10% of it to the church. They're gaining the most out of this if anything.

This kind of money is just stupid. Man City have become an embarrassment.

No one player is, has been, or ever will be worthy of that sort of valuation.

If this transfer goes through, Milan would have the bankroll to win every scudetto and European Cup for the next ten years. Incredible.

Nah, they wont. Because City will always have more (H) There's no denying it, this transfer makes absolutely no sense. Both me and my dad, big City fans, actually prefer if this transfer didn't go through. The only reason it's going through is because the Arabs wanna make a statement, maybe feeling Robinho wasn't quite enough. It'd make a lot more sense to sign a proper striker and centre midfielder. But nah, let's make headlines.

damn sky sports news is saying sky italia has announced Kaka's dad is going Manchester to Agree terms. The significant thing being personnel terms cant be done till both clubs have agreed a fee.

So assuming Kaka's dad gets what he son wants its a done deal?
