PS: 6 clean sheets in the league this season, 4 of them without Lescott in the starting line-up. Kompany's played 4 games as CB, 3 clean sheets.

We can officially say Lescott is the most overrated defender in a LONG time. IMO, he doesn't deserve a spot in the England team.

Should've had more than 1 goal, but another clean sheet... Well done. Boyata looked incredibly solid and composed in central defense, only 18, solid prospect. Benjani had 2 good touches all game, one happened to be the finish. He's definitely on his way out, probably on loan to Pompey.

PS: Rumours flying about Cordoba being our first signing. Really not necessary, Kompany's more capable at CB and Micah can fill in at CB while Toure and Lescott are out, and when they're back we'd just have a headache selection at the back. Get a decent left-back to replace Bridge and I'm happy with our squad. Done.

I really liked the fact that City never signed any has-been players in their new era.

Maybe Mancini thinks they need more experience at midfield area.

I think they need quality defenders (both full back and center back).
