Just Look at Messi and how he wins almost every match for Barca, Rooney had the same effect for us.

I guess maybe he would have figured more in the FA cup, it's a shame because given a few more first team games he could have developed enough to be a big help in this crucial time. That being said, from the highlights of chelsea, he looked more dangerous than Berbatov did...
Good luck tommorrow english mates, hope to see you in the final once more

What in the blue **** was the point of selling Ronaldo for $130 million if we weren't going to use the money to bring in new, good players. We might has well have given him to Madrid for free.
Making an offer on Gourcuff should be priority number one for SAF this summer. It is blatantly obvious that we need more creative attacking players who can score at any moment.
I mean how much more obvious can it be, if Rooney is not on the field we cannot score goals, plain and simple. At least not consistently.
I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow. I'd hate to say it but part of me almost hopes that Bayern roll over us. I almost feel like we need to be punished for our foolishness of not improving the offense last summer.
I also hope Robben has a great game against us to show how stupid we were for not trying to buy him last summer.

Its hard for a debt ridden club to keep up in a highly inflated transfer market. Can't blame fergie there if he's being cautious about transfers.
