ESPN is saying that with Gareth Barry's fitness now in question, Hargreaves might get called up for England. What a crazy ending to this season that would be!
What a joke that would be. The guy hasn't played in 20 months. Surely England has a proper midfielder who is fit.

Milner and Carrieck can do the job, Gerrard as well. But Fabio will use him on left side or behind Wayne.

Btw, we should discuss this things in England thread.

I hope this crazy season does another twist and we grab the title at the end.

BELIEVE.

C'mon Red Devils

Help?

I think we can already move on to next season.

In other news, United announced a US tour this week, and they will be in Canada in July! I'm definitely going to see them in Toronto!

yeah heard that. I would definitely go if I stayed here during summer but I have planned holidays elsewhere and bought flight tickets already long time ago :( **** that. That was lifetime opportunity to watch United live. It's the second time that I miss the opportunity to watch United. Last time United were planning a tour in Malaysia while I was there... and it was cancelled! That was 2008 I think.

I was excited when I first read about the US tour, but then realized that most of our best players won't be participating.

This is horrible, I know that there is a chance that we could take the title - but there's a sense of the inevitable.

If I could accept United are out of it then there would be no problem - it's the litte ray of hope that something, just might happen today - that does me in!

I just keep replaying a scenario in my head where we get the title. In fact last night I dreamed that we were in injury time and Chelsea had drawn - the score was 0-0 and Edwin went up for a corner. The ball came in and Edwin headed it into Stoke's net!!

I think the only thing we can do is try to score early and hope that somehow the pressure gets across to Chelsea (I can hope) But realistically I see Chelsea obliterating Wigan - it's set up for them to have a party.

Wait, are you talking pounds or US dollars right now?

This potential offer would certainly allow Glazer to pay off the debt and still come away with an enormous amount of money, correct?

I'm wondering his reasons for wanting so desperately to stay...financial or personal pride? In other words, does he want to stay because he wants to make money on it, or does he want to stay because he would feel like a failure walking away at this point?

Yeah that's pounds (£) but I got the information when reading up on it from the wiki, so god knows if its correct. Its usually quite accurate. Although if you google around you can find quotes that say the same thing.

I think they want to stay because they want to make money on it. His profits have being going up every year, a pattern that I assume will go up again this year. Perhaps even more so considering were coming out of a recession.

At the end of the day there business men and they want to make money. They will do what needs to be done to increase those profits.

How's this for arrogance - according to the radio they're selling 2010 Champions merchandise at Stamford Bridge already!

Like what? All I've seen is next seasons kits for sale. There is nothing in the store that relates to winning the league this season. Even the new shirts come without league badges.

The media are either reliable or they are not Mikey, and we know they are not. You can't pick and choose just because it suits you mate.

Today is obviously causing you and all United fans some stress, and the media are gonna exploit that with pathetic crap like this.

Well yeah, it was Talksport :innocent_smile_1:

Hell yeah the tension is getting to me - I know it shouldn't because the chances of Wigan getting anything are infinitessimal.

Jeez, is anyone else on here? This is horrible, we can't buy a goal so far (and Chelsea have taken the lead)

Why must Sky insist on showing the bloody Chelsea goal - it's like they're rubbing it in. The commentator hasn't shut up about bloody Chelsea.

Mind you, Sky is a London based company.

Of coarse they'll rub it in, its Sky.

I'm this close to turning the f*cking TV off. Sounds like more help for Chelsea from the FA, a dodgy offside call and then magically awarded a penalty - oh and a man sent off too.

Ahh bollocks to it - I'm probably not emotionally in the best frame of mind right now.

Malouda's head is offside, although he's standing on the line with the defender, and Alex is offside and blocking the linesman's view. It's tough to call, and in those cases you let the play run. I've said this when ManU have scored, too.

It WAS a penalty on Lamps, he's clearly obstructed and held by the defender, who is the last man, therefore it's a red.

Ah whatever - look if Chelsea win the title it's because we f*cked up. So yeah they finished above us so more power to ya.

As I said, I'm just really f*cked off right now. Plus I have a seething hatred of Lampard.

I wasn't expecting Wigan to do us favors anyway, but Caldwell had to be a buzzkill and make the result inevitable early on.

3-0. Ryan Shawcross finally did something useful for United :innocent_smile_1:

And still the commentator talks about Chelsea - someone should complain about this - Sky are so smug it's unbelievable. Mind you this is the outcome they wanted so I suppose they would be.

Anyway, I wonder how many United players are making their final appearances at Old Trafford today? As much as I love Dimitar, I suspect he might be one of them. Strange atmosphere at OT today.

Some front from the Stoke fans - "you're not champions anymore" like what the f*ck would Stoke fans know about that? Small team, anti United.
