look for his stats, its amazing that how he can score too many goals in a league with lots of tall players with his head, he jumps like Cannavaro.

Now we have so many fullbacks back from injury but still no central defenders... I don't think any of Evra, Fabio, Rafael can play central so it will most probably be Carrick, De Laet/Fletcher centre back unless we get some central defenders back from injury before the game.

There's a possibility that Vidic and/or Neville might be back for the game though.

I remember many people were saying this kind of stuffs when we were linked with Berbatov. What happened now? most United fans are going against him. To be honest I do not fancy big money moves. We splashed 30 millions on Veron in 2001 and he flopped. Of course I would love if a player like Villa comes (he's one of my favourite strikers) but I think its a big gamble to bring someone not EPL proven for such a price tag (50+ million?). We know very well that Ferguson will never make such a gamble.

Villa is better than Berbs ever was or ever will be. He is one of the elite scorers in the game and he would instantly be the best player in the team.

My dream would be to see us buy Villa and then somehow work a deal with Liverpool for Torres. Impossible, I know, but I can dream.

Yeah I meant gamble. Sorry about that.

Yeah we made some big money moves. Ferdinand and Berbatov transfers made new English transfer fee records. But other than Veron, Berbatov and Ferdinand, we spent less than 20-30 millions on each player. David Villa is a different story: he might cost 50+ which will never happen under SAF.

According to reports, Vidic is expected to be fit as could Brown. This should ease our defensive problems and Carrick and Fletcher can be restored in Midfield.
