TBH he's not that lightweight. He's 69 Kg for 1m70. Compared Giggs: 71 Kg for 1m80. Giggs is more lightweight than than Tosic for his height. They play the same position.
I can't see the Home Office creating trouble as he's also an international, even Diouf got his.....
SAF is clearly planning for the future, I expect him to give Owen another season, so that this new kid and Diouf can be settled in smoothly. I can't wait till next season.....
He looks exciting, I wonder how he will do with one of the best teachers (SAF). But I was really hoping for Macheda this year, I hope he starts to get first team opportunities the upcoming year.
Also you guys have:
Nani, Rafael, Fabio, Macheda, Obertan, Zoran, Evans, Rooney (Pretty established but still young)
Seems like you guys have a hell of a bright future to come, if they all produce that is.
I think Fergie was punished to be honest, he was decietful and carma caught up. Well Deserved
Robbens goal > Uniteds 4
What a fantastic strike. No shame in loosing to that strike, and Bayern I think are worthing winners, especially that second half wow they dominated the hell out of you, whipped your arses all over the park. Your players must be gay to be fvucked that bad by other men.
BTW no worry english mates, you still have a chance to win the league. Hope Rooney is ok, but you kinda deserve this after chanting Rooney's name like he is Messi. There is only one messiah.
Where is the mighty English now, Barca and Bayern made you look like a joke

These players might not have an instant impact in the team right now but the future definitely looks bright. I see that as a new era. Just give them 3 years... Yesterday's first 40 minutes was a glimpse of what they are capable of. That was probably our best 40 minutes this season. That too against a big team like Bayern.
I don't rate Obertan that much TBH. I think he has the potential of becoming good, but definitely not a starter. Maybe a good backup but I don't see him playing at the level of Nani. He's not a complete natural winger: he has the speed but can't cross and shoot at all.
Btw, we also have a wonderkid in our reserves or U18 called Ravel Morisson. Heard good things about him.
EDIT: Don't know much about Cleverley. But De Laet? Can't see him breaking in our first team... Not United quality IMO. We had better fullbacks in the past that we recently sold: Bardsley and Simpson.
Yeah I'm not sure about a few of them, that's why I split the list and gave it a less insulting name of future potential
Cleverley been playing for watford on loan and hes been amazing for them. One of my mates is a Watford supporter, keeps on banging on about him.
11 goal in 33 games at 20, from a midfield position. I'm guessing he may be given a chance this next season to see what hes got on a more senior level, then sold back to Watford or someone if things don't go to plan.
Or maybe loaned to someone like Newcastle to further improve. I'm sure he scored for united senior team too but cant seem to find the stat. He's defo got a bright future.
As for delaet that's true.... I really liked simpson. He had some cracking games for us. Pity, I wonder how hes been getting on? I'm not sure about de laet though, he played a few games for us he wasn't exactly terrible. There again he was nothing to rave about either.
*edit*
found a cleverley Video, has that senior goal too, I new he got one somewhere recently. I really like the lad, infact I'm sure he will break into the first team at some point. I'll be gob smacked if he don't. Although I maybe having some slight English bias.

Actually now I remember him lol. He scored in the asian pre-season against Hangzhou I think and I remember him scoring the year before that pre-season as well. And I remember I was checking his stats few months ago. He had scored 8 in 20 by then. Seems like a good goalscoring midfielder but I'd like to actually see him in game. Meaning passes, dribbles etc. Other aspects of the game other than scoring. Anyway if he progresses, he'll definitely be given a run in Carling or FA cup.
I just read that. He's a striker and plays for Mexico. He scored 4 goals in 4 games for them. All friendlies though. He scored 10 in 10 for Chivas this season. He seems very prolific for his age...
Some of his goals for Mexico:
I'm excited by his signature. Considering he's only 1.73m and 62 Kg, I hope he's not the new Giuseppe Rossi. He's as tall as Owen.
i gotta say manchester are very smart making this signing..... i mean this because they are beeing very oportunist giving his price is gonna go to the sky after the WC..... this kid is one o those players that dont come very often for mexico like hugo sanchez or marquez.....believe the hype.
Its his brand name for a start. Would be stupid to change it at this point. I think it translates to "little pea". I wonder if this is our baby faced assassin mock 2.
well if he doesn't change it now when he's uknown in Europe he sticks with it forever. And if he want's to be known by the name chicarito little pea means he's retarded
Its bad brand management to change your name like that. Think of the millions of people who know him by one name, mostly the Mexicans.
Now he moved to Europe... Who's going to buy his brand? United fans, and Mexicans. Would changing his brand for a minority of Utd fans seem like good business? Hes Spent years building the reputation of that name he's not about to just change it because other cultures don't get it. Especially when there the minority.
Then you got to think about the fact that the very name is excellent branding. Who's going to forget a name like Chicharito. Any supporter in the prem who hears that name is going to remember it, its instantly recognisable.
I think only mexicans know him by this name . Compare this to entire European and Worldwide exposure after becoming United player. Man U fan base is one of the biggest in the world is not a minority and his brand is not adressing only to Man U fans but to entire football community . No matter how good he will be, this name would attract mockings around him, because it sounds like a chiuaua dog combined with burrito, lol

Yes probably all 111 million of them. Of course i'm over exaderating there and sterotyping that all mexicans are football mad. But you get the point theres a LOT of people who are going to be following one of there most hyped players.
Most agree that he's the most complete striker that Mexico has produced in a long time. He has power and touch on both legs, quick, good technically, good passer, and is incredible in the air despite his lack of height (5'9"). He's a real humble kid with a good head on his shoulders. I wish him all the luck!
As you can see a bulk of them are fans from Asia. And believe me they wont mock his name. If anything they will lap it up. United fans are arguably a minority in comparison to Mexican fans.

As I mentioned before his branding for the rest of the community is actually a bonus. People wont forget his name. Its, instantly recognisable.
As for mocking his name as far as branding goes its already its doing its job, its making you talk about him.
Just look at our last 5 messages. Were talking about nothing other then his name Chicharito. That's great branding! Now everyone else will read about it and maybe even spark more debate. Good stuff.
