Since when is intimidation worse than an actual violent hit in the face?
Keown jumped in the air and hit him in the back of the head? Plus he was getting pushed by like 5 Arsenal players.

you red devils are such wimps. the arsenal - chelsea game went completly without fist fights or shouting matches, even though that was a more important and decisive game than arsenals against man u. that shows that manchester are causing all the trouble. if you look closely at the replay of the penalty, campbell pulled his leg away well before rooney was going to smash into him and take a dive. i must say that rooney is one of the worst sportsmen i have ever seen, he needs to grow up. riley was miles away looking at his feet, as all refs are, and the moment he saw rooney down he automatically called a penalty. and as for henrys free kick against chelsea, hell, gudjonson knew about it, and he was shouting his head off. sounds fair to me. cech was just too dumb to notice.

Help?

First of all Rooney didn't hit in the face, he pushed the face with his open hand, not even closed punch hand and second of all if you are the one that weren't smoking you would have noticed what happened after the final whistle. Elbowing the guy from behind in the back of his head is called intimidation now, huh?

Wrong! That shows that Arsenal don't hate Chelsea. What trouble does United cause? Make Arsenal throw soups round the tunnels and jump, hit and yell like crackheads at United players?
Think first before you speak.

That is exactly what he is still doing. Rooney is not even mature yet and in some countries he wouldn't even be allowed to drink. Or you think that 19 everyone is already grown up and knows everything. Keown is like 35 and he is less mature than Rooney and if you gonna talk about his Campbell dive, which was brought in for some reason, than Pires is 8+ years older and still does the same thing.

You don't walk away from blocking the ball to yell to your keeper to cover the net. That's even dumber than not noticing Eidjur yelling. Gudjonssen is not that stupid to let Henry just take a shot and see what happens.

It doesn't matter, the point is, that Keown hit Ruud right in the back of his head with an arm from behind and that is worse than pushing someone with an open palm.

BTW just found that pic
:D

oohs I should have been specific, He did more than just intimidation, as others pointed out, he hit Ruud with his elbow from behind and its a violent conduct, end of.

Where as Rooney case was a brush-off with his palm, not a punch in the face.

What are the odds of this conversation going on for another 2 weeks? I fancy a bet.

If you raise your hand it should be and automatic red, whether there was intend or not. Simple as that. Rooney was stupid for doing it but the Bolton lad made a right meal of it.
But to say that Rooney's shove was worse than Keown or some of the stuff Bergcunt has gotten away with in his career is just plain stupid.
