Sebastien Frey has declared that he will leave Parma in the summer and would definitely consider a move to Manchester United.

The highly-rated French keeper has been targeted by United for a number of years and, considering the fact that the Old Trafford outfit are likely to be seeking a new number one in the summer, Frey will undoubtedly feature again in the gossip columns.

Internazionale are also tracking the Gialloblu keeper and a desire to remain in Italy could mean the Giuseppe Meazza side are slight favourites to land the 24-year-old.

The ex-Cannes man played for Inter before arriving at Ennio Tardini.

"This is my last season at Parma," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I made sacrifices this year because everyone knows what situation Parma are in.

"I feel good here. I have a contract until 2007 but I can't deny that my dream is to have an important experience and I think I deserve it.

"I have already been at Inter but I was young. Now, with [Massimo] Moratti's esteem, it would be beautiful but it's hard to think about it.

"I see the problems facing Francesco Toldo. He is criticised and jeered for his first mistake. I confess I have a little fear and many things would have to change in this aspect.

"The English idea is charming. Surely, Manchester are a big side but, in these years, I've become really attached to Italy.

"I don't deny I could also stay in Italy.

"I admit I would like it."

Frey is now likely to remain silent until the close season as he focuses on life at Parma.

"I can't think about these things - the future and what it will be - until the end of the season," he stated. "Because we will struggle until the end of the season to stay up.

"It's a matter of respect towards the club and my team-mates.

"I don't know what I will do. It isn't known yet and it is too soon to tell it."

If Howard won't live up to expectations till the summer, Frey might possibly join.

It's getting a bit annoying, we are linked with every keeper in the world, now it is Frey's and Benfica's Moreira turn. Who will it be tomorrow?

Moreira Is No.1 Pick For Fergie
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has put Portuguese keeper Jose Felipe Moreira at the top of his hit list. Ferguson sent brother Martin - United's chief European scout - to watch the Benfica star shut out Porto as he seeks a long-term solution to his problem position. United have been checking on the 22-year-old for a few weeks, also sending a delegation to Benfica's recent game with Sporting Lisbon. Moreira has plenty of experience for someone of his age and has played in European competition as well as being Portugal's current second choice. Ferguson wants a new keeper at a reasonable price in the wake of Tim Howard and Roy Carroll's poor form.

No you dont understand. Man utd have had such bad experience with keepers there just going to buy them all, and when one makes a mistake, stick another great keeper in (H)

Nah seriously Kameni for 4 million is a bargain, they should get him now before they run out of time.

Moreira is a great keeper, future Portugal Nº1 for sure... IMO, he should be it already, he's young also. But please don't take him from us :(
