Oh my god, our finishing is terrible, not only against Milan and Palace but all this season.Im starting to think that Fergie thinks that he has Ruud, Rooney, Saha, Smith, Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs and there is no need to practice finishing...

I watched quite a bit of both legs and I don't think this matchup vs. Milan proved that everything needs to be changes, from coach to half the squad. First off you need a lot luck in a knockout stage. One blunder by the goalie or any other player can cost you your CL campaign, especially against defensive minded Italian teams which are hard to break through.
What if Dide ****ed up in the first leg and and Man United won the game by one goal? Milan look worldclass on the defensive end but I didn't get the impression that they could score at will. Crespo's goal yesterday was a result of bad positioning while United was pushing forward with all its offensive weapons.

Just my 0,02 $.

It's not based on this match alone.

And only numbnuts are suggesting changing the manager. We just have some excess players that needs to be offloaded and that money put to better use.

I think main priorty is GK and maybe Defence

I think Keep Tim Howard get rid of Roy Carroll
Get Carlos Kameni cos i've herd he's wicked!!

Get another defender someone like Carlos Puyol, Vincent Kompany (his he any good? i've herd promising things about him)

Also another midfielder could be a good idea. e.g Stuart Downing, Michael Essien, Morten Gamst Pederson (He's impressed me in recent weeks in EPL!)

Keano offers a little perspective:
Keane Reacts

and Ruud offers apologies:
Ruud Sorry

The players know you were not outgunned out there, they know it came down to how was more willing and who got more luck on the pitch. Look at Bytter's sig and see what SAF has done for you and this team in only the last decade. I cant believe someone would actually call for his head
:kader:
He has earned the right to leave when and where he pleases. And he has proven his ability to adapt and respond to new challenges time and time again. Next season, im sure, will be no exception

Realistically, Chelsea was the best thing that happened to the EPL, Chelsea is actually a good continental team with a good coach, who can compete both at home and on the European stage. They are now setting a benchmark for English footballing standards. Chelsea's high position in the league just proves how much better they are than all these other teams, and the general quality of English football.

Manchester, Arsenal and Liverpool better start catching up, and English clubs need a winter break.

As for Fergie getting the boot....no comment....

after thinking for a while, i agree what you said about chelsea, Zamunda
if we want to win the title, we need to get better, get the best of ourselves
not to moan or bitch around

all you bitches who want fergie to go and ruud to be sold can support another team.

who bought us so many trophies,victories,moments?-fergie.
although some may say that time is up-thank you and now f*** off, it menas nonsense.
We lost to a world=class milan side who may eventually win the cl.
and looking in the match we could have scored 4over both legs, but the finishing was not proper.

Ruud has been a legend and he has helped us so much.what about the 2003 season?ruud's top form won us the title at the end.His goals have saved us in the cl always.i would prefer selling the players who don't fit in ruud
's system rather than selling ruud himself. He is proven class.
His lack of match fitness cost us.
we have had an injury hit season.but still our performances have been somewhat good./
next season, provided injuries kept at bay,we'll be the best.

milan could have won against any team.their defence is strong to hold barca and chelsea aswell.

Ruud havent shown anything special in last matches but with so long time out im not suprised and i also dont think its his fault. The midfield dont work the way it should, we dont have someone who can cross a damn good ball to the penalty area.

That's true. But blaiming SAF for his decision making and Ruud for not scoring after being out for 3 months is nonsense. They have brought the club so much succes and hearing people that Ruud should be sold and SAF sacked is crap. The team isn't good enough. If you guys are already bashing on Ruud then I wonder how it will be when Ole is back.

We need to learn to keep the ball on the damn ground, we rely too much on our wingers and if they don't produce, no one else does. Too much wing play at times for my liking. We hardly ever attack down the middle and run straight at central defenders, it's always playing the ball out to the wings and hoping for a good cross.

Also, out set pieces in the last couple of seasons have been absolute shit. I can probably count the number of goals we have scored from corners and freekicks over the past two seasons.

Fergie needs to stop this 'resting' bollocks, not only did we not have any benefit from it as last night showed, it already cost us any chance of catching Chelsea in the league on Saturday. SAF should never be allowed to leave, but that does not make him or any of the players immune to criticism.

Milan were simply the better team than us and our attacking play was shit. Giggs(Gattuso couldn't have hit him harder), Ronaldo(atleast he had the balls to dribble from one box to another at times), Rooney, van Nistelrooij were all fucking clueless at times - or am I not allowed to say that, after all it is the truth isn't it?.

Jaap Stam, regardless if he crossed the line or not when bringing out that book was fucking class last night and I hope Sir Alex regrets selling him.
