hey shokz, u think u can provide us match highlights (in your recognized superb fantastic sofisticated one-of-a-kind unreal splendid quality) of that bolton match, if I plug the quality of your HL's enough?

we really need some good centre midfielders now , and we should release silvestre to some division three club he would be better suited to that level of football.

Ruud returning is great... As will Rooney and Saha's return...except the problem is our midfield lacking creativing and drive... and thats the area where we WON'T be really getting new players....

It doesn't matter how potent our forward line is... if they aint getting service... we might as well had Barthez and Forlan up front...

In the game against Bolton, we had the same number of shots as Bolton... 12 shot with 7 on target... this has nothing to do with finishing, more rather it is the midfield not creating enough chances... clearly our midfield is not dominating... and we had Scholes, Giggs, Keane and Klberson...

Scholes, giggs and Keane are automatic first teamer and yet they are not performing ...

Thats why i am worried...

Hope SAF will again pull the bunny out of the hat and prove my fears unwarranted..

sadly scholes , giggs and keanes best days are behind them , they re not bad , but they arnt the players they were 5 years ago.

It's all down to the midfield. Yesterday's match was pitiful. We clearly saw that Keane had no control of the midfield as well as Scholes. Creativity is another thing, what happened to the crosses from the wings? We should have created and tried to put the match beyond control of Bolton. This is probably one of the most needed whippings since 3-1 Manchester City. Fergie has to be a Scolari and change his side for the vital trip to Lyon where Wiltot and co. are waiting.

season 02/03 was the last season we lifted up the trophy with massive 7 concecutive wins. 8 points behind arsenal and fought back to lift up the trophy by last win in everton. with van nistelrooy unstoppable scoring, beckham more than 20 assists, scholes become a shadow assassin behind striker and scoring a incredible hat-trick against newcastle. while keane is out in mid season and phil neville freeze viera, henry and we win 2-0 in old trafford. we have terrible first leg against real madrid and soonly we proved that our attacking are not weaker than them by winning 4-3 at home and lose with honour. ole gunnar solsjkaer as a super sub as usual, break his individual record and score against newcastle and we beat them with 5-3 and 6-2. while viduka end arsenal hope and we knew that we are champion of english football once again.

at the begining of season 03/04, departure of beckham and veron make our creative or playmaker midfield are lesser choices. transfer of kleberson, djemba-djemba, david bellion, tim howard and golden boy cristiano ronaldo give us a hope that the world cup winner kleberson may produce some quality football, usa howard can stronger last line of defence to replace non consistent barthez. tim howard prove himself to help us win in charity sheild by saving few penalties. ronaldo make huge impact at his debut and opening game of EPL with his tricky step over, left or right footed, twist and turn to giving opponent defend hard time to stop him and with no choice to brought him down. while we have high hope on the world cup winner make him debut against southampton and is the disappointed one with we losing 1-0 by beattie heading. tactically are all wrong by SAF

soonly kleberson was injured and suffering whole season. continue with solsjkaer injury make path for young ronaldo to prove his quality and continue shaking opponent defend and finally score his first goal for manchester united while againsts portsmouth as a subsitute. at the moment we think that departure of beckham and veron will not cost us but after that, our horrible time are come. with ferdinand missing drug test and giving 8 months banned by FA. scholes injury, nistelrooy look jaded playing lone striker upfront with lack midfield support, silvestre and o'shea partner at center are terrible, fletcher are not class enough to make hugh impact, djemba-djemba and bellion are still lack of big match experience. our team are look new and lack of understand and communication between players.
nistelrooy released his feeling to media that he miss beckham and no doubt, beckham is the most consistent player that giving great cross and what he do is finish it and score. while scholes out and veron departure, our midfield are lack of playmaker.

winter transfer window open, we strengthen our squad by new number 9, louis saha which still consider partner well with nistelrooy to less nistelrooy stress on his shoulder. return of scholes are still able to give our midfield a new life line but the most important thing that cost our title are defending. silvestre can't find his top form, o'shea dropping comparing to last season, brown need more time to get fully fit for long term injury come back. lose to portsmouth, middlesbrough, chelsea even have hard time play against everton. while SAF stil playing his mind games with wenger and we know our title hope are gone. at the end, arsenal win EPL with unbeaten record while we only can make ourself at 3rd place.

obviously we can see giggs, keane, scholes, silvestre performance are dropping. the treble winning club engine are old now. inject new blood like ronaldo, kleberson, djemba-djemba, bellion, howard and rooney, smith this season no doubt will giving us fresh and powerful squad but in 1 or 2 years, we can't expect that those new boys able to adapt to the squad in short term but may be in 2 years time. the departure of beckham i believe is SAF emotional decision, if he can keep his personal prejudice against beckham, i think he will love to stay at manchester united. soonly the departure of veron is so sudden that will leave a huge hole in midfield while we can't find a good replacement for them. bid war against ronaldinho make we think the departure of beckham and veron is fine if we can get ronaldinho but eventually we lose to barca and we lose 2 world class midfielder.

not comparing to arsenal or other team. we obviously can see our player have no connection to each other, no understanding, passing are poor, defending are poor. midfielder and defender, keeper and defender, midfielder and striker have no linking to each other. the new manchester united are no longer like season 99 or 02/03. tactics are gone wrong, squad player have no understanding. no team spirit, player have no aggression to win. world class player 3 years ago performance are dropping while their partner are departured or injured. sloppy performance in defending, lack of creativity in attacking. with current performance we hard to tell any 1 that our team are world class team. we have stars in team but with no linkage. we have 4 class strikers but no creativity in attacking, we have quality defender but unable playing slopy and more slopy in every game.

if these problems not solve in fast, title hope are gone, UCL hope are gone and i not sure we able to qualify for UCL next season. we must get back on track faster, arsenal 5 concecutive wins, chelsea still unbeaten, bolton, everton are above of us, liverpool are back on track after 3-0 win and 1 points in front of us. this season will no be easy, we need wins, a lots of wins and goals. we need beat chelsea, arsenal, liverpool, newcastle and ... we must no let go points against team like bolton, portsmouth, norwich. as a world class team with world class players, please perform like it. i think is the time for players and SAF consider their situation, where they need to improve and what is going on.

this is just my opinion, may be a bit long, i just try to express my view, as a manchester united supporter, is always so upset while see our team lose points like this. please please wake up, red devils. is time to wake up now, score goals and hammering weak opponent to lift up the team spirits. and wins titles and trophies~!!

we HAVE to go on an unbeaten run of say 20 games or so and win about 16-17 of them
a point toal in the range of about 85 cannot guarentee us the title cause Arsenal are on an unstopable role now.

i think SAF willl send a predator lunar boot to my head (just like he did to beckham) cause i criticized him on selling beckham and veron. (H)

btw, i don't think man utd team or SAF will surf net and view fans opinion unless there is an official forum that they frequently view??? will they do so?

At the moment things are just not working out for Utd. It seems to be an endless stream of ****e being plunged over Utd. Suspensions, injuries, bad luck and more injuries.

As I've said before, I think 50-75% of our squad are decent players. The rest is not Utd material, but most importantly we're missing that really big player. Van Nitelrooij is one who's able to step up, but he's a striker. You need a player of that kind in the middle of the park. Keane used to be that player, and he still might be that player verbally, but not in terms of performances. Utd are lacking a player like the Gerrards, Zidane's, Ronaldinho's and Vieira's of this world. And that is something you've got to hold the board responsible for. IMO they've invested in the wrong areas.

I saw the highlights of the game last night on the BBC. We started pretty well and I was happy with the way Kleberson was playing. I thought he was really good, espescially that little ball shuffle followed by that big lob into the box which Scholes couldn't finish off. Ronaldo was lively and dangerous as ever, I just wished he'd stop having that bad luck of hitting the woodwork. He would have scored some real crackers if it wasn't for the posts and bars.

But not all is bad. I still have confidance in the team, it's just really being tested this time. With everybody fit and in form we can still produce a magnificent first 11 with a lot of attacking options, but unfortunately not enough midfield options.

9 points? what's that?
with still 34 matches left... we can still make 102 more points!

how? well...
THE MAN IS FINALLY BACK

Within 2/3 matches our great goal-scoring-record-breaking machine will be back on top form to give us back the Premiership!

what? you gotta keep confidence on your players, man! or else we'll have nothing but suffering for the entire year...
thats true Funky-K ! :rockman:
United's success is not because of our players are the best 11 in the world. It's all about BELIEF!
Rio will be back and we can give a little rest to silvestre coz he is really diffident. v. Nistelrooy, Smith, Saha and Rooney can score 100 or 200 goals for us. there are 33 games waiting for us. ;)

PS. Funky--K, where can i find the CL font on your sig and EPL font? thanks :)

one thing i realise bout Arsenal is that Henry is playing as a support role for Reyes nowadays..i don't see him scoring goals like last season..i wonder if this has gotta do with something??..
