Gigs deserves more respect than that. If you guys can't play him than let him go. Why can't Gigsi get the same treatment Keano gets.

Ferguson must be taking the piss...including that joke of a player that is Fletcher. And why does he not see that we NEED a midfielder to back up Keane because he simply can't deliver 100% game in, game out, he's too old for that and trying to play Smith in that position is just, well...

Good win nevertheless but we need to tighten up the midfield, we really missed Ronaldo today, it showed.

we respect Giggs
so he doesnt play in the first league match does it mean we dont rate him as a player like he was before?

fergusson was just testing if Park can handle the pressure, and he could
it is never bad to have some competitions between players.

Pleased that we can win without Ronaldo today, I yet to know his absence. Did you guys see Roy Keane get brushed off the ball many times? Did you guys see the midfield get overrun? Did you guys see that Cahill might have changed the game if he scored with his first half header?

I saw it, I saw it and I saw it.

Why can't Fergie see it?

As for the performance, satisfactory for me but importantly, the three points.

Great finish by Ruud, great saves by VDS, and we were without Heinze and Ronaldo (and Giggs, but Park was also great).

West Ham are top of the league, I think.

You guuys should look into Cicinho, Neville was poor today(especially with his touch)

Even though I'd rather get a midfielder, I'd be completely happy with signing Cicinho. Like someone else said, imagine having Cicinho and Ronaldo or Park overlapping each other on the right side. :bouncy:

i wouldn't be keen on Cicinho as he's not really a defender at all, which would create alot of strain on our other defensive players.
