Beckham, Butt and Phil Neville leaving aren't the reason we suck. We suck because we didn't bring in quality replacements and that Fergie didn't retire three seasons ago. It would be foolish to blame on the three mentioned midfielders. And when you got a stubborn manager like Fergie who cares more for horses than he does for the club, just figure out the conclusion yourself.

because he believes our youth academic can always produce the player like class 92' :S

Some "exclusive" news about United that I read in a local papers:

There was a competition held by the newspaper Apple Daily together with the mobile phone company SmarTone-Vodafone, and the prize of the 13 winners is to go to Carrington Training Ground to see United's training and tickets for the game tonight, United-Chelsea.

A Hong Kong guest reporter called "London Jon" wrote in the papers about something in the training session. Scholes and Rooney were chatting while training and then Rooney kicked the ball up into the air. Fergie saw that and pointed at the two of them and then scolded them seriously and harshly. After that they had a 7-a-side match. Scholes and Rooney played actively and scored the most goals in that match. The weather was rainy and it will be rainy in today's game.

United arranged Van der Sar to meet the prize winners and the reporters. "London Jon" asks VDS how he will do against Chelsea. VDS said that he is confident to keep his cleansheet and help United to rebound.

Also, the winners saw Keane in his Audi car in the car park of Carrington training ground. The club guide said that injured players seldom came to the training ground. It seems that Keano really wants to boost the teammates' morale.

-----------------------------------
Fergie seems to be very serious during the training and he really wants the team to beat Chelsea.

RVN needs to be sold before he's not worth a ****.
Ruud has scored 136 goals in 188 games and concidering he has not been in "good" form for a long time,i say he is worth every penny!
U can't really blame Ruud for the poor midfield, there aren't anyone feeding him with quality balls in the box (still he is nr 2 on the top scorer list)
if the midfield have done there job,he would possible scored some more!

Capello quells United talk

uventus coach Fabio Capello has downplayed suggestions he could take over at Manchester United.

Reports in Italy have claimed that Capello has been lined up by the Glazer family to eventually replace Sir Alex Ferguson at the helm.

United are in the midst of a mini-crisis after losing to Middlesbrough and Lille and that has raised questions about Ferguson's future at Old Trafford.

The lack of determination in the last two games has caused concern among the United faithful, who are also unhappy with Ferguson's tactics.

There have been suggestions that the vastly experienced Scot may decide to quit at the end of the season when he will have completed almost 20 years in charge.

The Red Devils' owners have no plans to sack Ferguson but there are rumours in Italy that they are sounding out eventual successors.

Capello's name is high on the list, with the hugely successful coach having recently reiterated his desire to manage in The Premiership.

The Glazers are reportedly ready to offer Capello the chance to fulfil his ambition, if Ferguson walks away next summer.

But Capello does not expect Ferguson to leave his post, although he is honoured to be considered a candidate for the Old Trafford job.

"I'm flattered to be among those who might be interviewed if Sir Alex Ferguson leaves Manchester United, although I don't think he will do it," Capello told Sky Italia.

"Anyway, I have a contract with Juve [until 2007], but being mentioned for this possibility flatters me."

:o rumors and rumors again

more rumours :

Sir Alex Ferguson has £20m to spend in January and will attempt to bring Didier Zokora, Michael Ballack and Anatoliy Tymoshchuk to Old Trafford. (Daily Star)

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants to sign Aldo Duscher from Deportivo as a replacement for Roy Keane. (News of the World)

it is becoming regular for united to go after unknown players and end up crying after their faliure.
whereas 3 seasons ago it was rumours like ronaldinho, robben, van bommel, etc.

now its all crap except for ballack, which is not likely to happen .
who are the other guys?
