heh, Lampard injuried. I am even wondering if the guy will ever miss a game before he retires.garlei said:Now that we're out of a CL, we have more time to focus on the Premier League and gets as close to Chelsea as possible. If we do reasonably well in the FA Cup and the PL I'd be very happy.
Who knows, Chelsea may slip up. They haven't had an injury crisis yet. If Terry or Lampard gets injured the team may not play as well. I'm not wishing that it will happen, I'm just saying it's a possibility that thing like this can happen. Chelsea has been very lucky so far regarding that. I suppose their key players aren't injury prone.
Everything is not over yet and I still firmly believe we have a good squad. We are one to two midfielders away from being a very good side again. In the Benfica match, Rooney was the only one who was bringing the ball all the way from our half to the other half. He had to run all the way back to our half to defend and bring it all the way up, for many times. That's wasting talent. He should be in the opposition half waiting for the perfect through past, beating a defender and scoring.
The linkup between the midfield and the forwards is poor. I hope we sign someone good this summer. We are two midfielders away. We are still have a great defence (subject to Rio playing well again) and offence.
Come on Fergie. Sort this out.
Fergie choses players that will play and Queiroz choses how to play them (the actual formation)Paulo Da Silva said:Okay i'm confused. Who chooses the tactics at Man U, Queiroz or Fergie? cuz it would not make sense for Queiroz to do so.

ladylover said:Man I'd rather keep SAF then change managment, look at what happened to Real after they sacked their best possible manager at that time, they have never been the same ever since, that's the best example you can have that managment change doesn't solve anything 9 out of 10 times. Give SAF the right players and I am sure that he will shut the critics mouth. IMO he has got the squad playing good football, even when the most of them are below Man U standards. With the right additions it will all work out. The CL problem started at the time when our home form was bad, if we had that in place we could've qualified a lot easier.
Peepz think that because SAF isn't doing so well lately we have to get rid of them, because they think that it is the only solution, even when another manager comes in, he won't bring in a big bag with cash in it to start spending, he would still have to work with the same material.
That's the point. Fergie for most of this season, has just been enjoying an in work vacation pretty much, while Quieroz does his super effective, mastermind tactics that the whole world is supposed to be scared of.Paulo Da Silva said:then Fergie is NOT doing his job. Your assistant is supposed to assist u not choose your tactics...get rid of the man and hire somebody else(Hitzfield, Le Guen)

Plus will Hitzfield or Le Guen go to United to be 2nd best? Highly doubt it.
ladylover said:It is nonsense that Fergie isn't choosing the tactics and formations
Nobody knows who is ACTUALLY chosing the tactics, but it is always Quieroz talking about tactics in interviews and Ferguson always talking about how we need to perform and who is back or who is out and then during most of our games this season Ferguson would be sitting on the bench looking at his time, while Quieroz would be running around yelling at everybody and instructing the subs what to do.Paulo Da Silva said:if Fergie goes won't they be the #1 man.
How the **** can a manager not choose the tactics for their team, it is just so ridiculously stupid. Is he even present at practices?
I definately remembered that in a several interviews from manutd.com Fergusson said that it was Queerarse who was responsible for the tacticsAndrejs said:I don't know who is the one choosing tactics and formations but hes doing horrible job.
4-4-2 diamond, drop Scholes, play Rooney as AMC, Park and Giggs on the flank, Smith as DMCladylover said:Park is doing quite well and he can do better, IMO he earns a spot in the starting eleven and not Ronaldo, isn't it possible to play with 2 real strikers, like Ruud and Saha and play Rooney behind them?
