I have MUTV anyway, I'm always watching it

I have MUTV, but I have to say I don't watch it all that often. Definitely not all the time, there's too much nonsense on there to watch it all the time. They don't put any new stuff on, I want to hear interviews and footage of the new signings. Instead I put it on and find a game from the 90's. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind watchin a few old classic's every once in awhile, but it's a bit annoying. I also don't like the fact you have to pay for the channel, then when its 4am and nothing's on tv, you turn it onto MUTV (which you have to pay a significant amount of money for) and there are them stupid 6 second ab adverts on at night. That's the kinda crap free channel's have to do to make up the money, wtf is goin on.

Yeah that was the origional plan for Cristiano, but he was so impressive he played far more - if Nani or Anderson make an impact, then they too will be given more games.

Nani and Anderson are both older than Ronaldo, when he came anyway, you'd expect them to get a decent amount of game time.

I've got MUTV too and think it's worth every penny. 6 quid's nothing for what you get. Crerand and Bower in Extra Time was worth the fee alone! Paddy Crerand is an absolute legend! Live reserve and academy stuff, plus all the pre-season friendlies too. Only problem during the close-season is that there's not much to report on. That's why we see endless re-runs of classic games and re-runs of the call in shows.

Disappointed with Steve Bower leaving. Wonder who'll do the commentary this coming season?

Overall tho, I think it's great. Would recommend it to anyone.

No, not fired. Steve Bower has moved to Setanta for next season to be a commentator. Obviously more money but it's a shame that he had to leave cos he had such a good rapport with Paddy. Should have seen Paddy on the last Crerand and Bower show. He was proper upset!

I was a bit shocked when I found out too. Still Mandy and Hayley have done an excellent job in anchoring the news and studio programmes. I wonder who'll take over the Commentating role with Paddy - probably Andy Dickman as he does the reserves and academy.

Also back to football, looks like the Tevez affair is set to drag on, the Premiership apparently are supporting West Ham Although IMO it looks like they're the ones breaking the rules and I'm starting to understand Sheffield United's point now.

As well as not getting Tevez, with this deal in seeming limbo - United can't even buy an alternative either. I'm annoyed that the FA takes so long do resolve things, especially as they let Liverpool take Mascherano without a battle. (Mind you Barwick is a Liverpool fan - make of that what you will)

Nah, I doubt Liverpool got any preferential treatment on Mascherano. Liverpool were actually the ones that put West Ham in this mess. Once they completed the singing for Mascherano, they had to reveal who they dealt with and then it surfaced that West Ham doesn't own the duo! And the rest is histroy.

Great, with them involved - we might just sign him in time for his 30th birthday

Also I don't think Rossi will be sold until the Tevez deal is watertight. I think he'll see some serious matchtime for us this season.

Heinze: I've talked with Tevez

Gabriel Heinze admits he encouraged Carlos Tevez to choose United, despite interest in the striker from a host of top European clubs.

And although the 23-year-old's transfer has hit a snag, media reports today suggest the deal may be completed by the weekend.

Heinze, who is currently playing alongside Tevez for Argentina in the Copa America competition, told Icons.com he has held detailed discussions with the West Ham player about life at Old Trafford.

"I told him that he is going to receive a lot of help to make progress," Heinze said. "It is a team that gives you a lot of prestige, both personal and professional. And he is going there at the right time. He is 23 years old so what else could he ask for?

"It makes me feel very happy that Tevez might come to United. If everything goes okay he will be joining an amazing club. He will arrive to a team that always draws up the highest objectives and where your only concern is to play football, because all the rest is taken care of."

Whether or not Heinze will still be at Old Trafford to welcome Tevez's arrival is still open for debate. A strong of clubs have publicly declared their interest in the 29-year-old, who faces strong competition from Patrice Evra for the Reds' left back spot.

"I still don't know what I am going to do," Heinze admitted. "I'm going to start thinking about that after the Copa America. The interest in me from important teams such as Liverpool, Juventus and Real Madrid makes me feel proud, but I feel very comfortable in Manchester and I'm grateful for everything I've experienced there."

Argentina meet Brazil in Sunday's Copa America final (22:05 BST, Sky Sports 1).

I'm off to the Inter Milan friendly at Old Trafford on August 1st, can't wait. I've never watched United in the flesh even though I've been to Old Trafford before, so I cannot wait.

Anyone with score predictions?

PS: I hope Henize doesn't leave. He, Silvestre and Evra are the best left backs in the country, my biased opinion.

i think silvestre will go just as he got little playing time and he wasnt in the picture for the new kit??? and neither was rossi??

Heinze is quality, love his get at it style. Evra does play well but there different sort of players, evra being fast more skilled, Heinze the strong get out my way sorta player. Would be quality to have them both on the team. Especially for rotations, keeping fresh etc.

Was our fall last year in Europe for example, not having enough backup. Be stupid to get rid of such a good player, especially as hes saying hes happy at united.

Foster is injured for the start of the new season. Ligament knee damage, he had an operation on it. Being a massive Van der Sar fan he'll be between the sticks, although Kuszczak is still a great goalkeeper, he did a great job for us during the title winning season when Edwin was out.
