I just think he has a remarkable similarity in his looks to John terry. When I saw him in his first interview for Manchester United I instantly seen a similarity to John terry. Chris Eagles is a Londoner too, they have the same accent also. Just the way he presents himself in interviews has great similarities to John Terry. People might not see it, but I do.
And I also believe that Chris might be captain of Manchester United, one day, you never know.

Been on BBCsport that West Ham might settle out of court, if Kia gives them £6M. However he's only offered £100K so far.

not sure if I agree, you can't fault Smith for the effort he puts in, I just don't think he has the talent to match it, his record as a striker is mediocre and he never really impressed in midfield, he'd be a good signing for a mid table team but I can't really see him staying at man utd.

Did anyone see a documentry about Alan Smith on TV, a few years ago, before he started his professional career and before he started playing for Leeds?

I think one of the best attributes of Smith is his aggression and his eagerness to win the ball back anywhere on the pitch, he actually reminds me most of roy keane, because he had that competitiveness as well (though he was a nutter) and I think he works well with Rooney Ronaldo Giggs etc. because he is such a contrasting player.

I think I agree if i'm honest with myself but hes a quality player and has attributes to promote himself, like his aggression and want to win. Fan favorite.

Wish he scored more goals, but from what i remember when he first came to us he did well whilst the others were injured for a short time, then he had that period in midfield, then he bust his leg.

Not quite sure what my point is, hes just one of those players you would like to see do well.
