Make America Great Again
If I was Ronaldo I would tell Man U to reject every Real Madrid bid, I would pocket the 26 million, and never leave. Seriously, that's an insane pay day.

very quiet transfer market for ManU so far.

ManU is not a term United fans refer to themselves as. The term is only used by other supporters as a complete and utter insult to our club. The "u" is meant to be "you" by the rival fans.

An early example of its usage is this chant by West Brom fans: "Duncan Edwards is manure, rotting in his grave, man you are manure- rotting in your grave". The origin of "ManU" is a song to insult the dead Duncan Edwards.

Liverpool and Leeds fans copied this with their own man you /u versions to insult all of the lads who died at munich.

"ManU ManU went on a plane ManU ManU never came back again"

and..

"ManU Never Intended Coming Home" (if you combine the capital letters you get the word "munich").

I hope this makes it clearer that saying ManU is an insult, particularly to the older supporters and to see United fans using it now is shameful. I hope a few might read this, understand and spread the word.

So... Please REFRAIN from using this term ever again!!!!!!!

Yo dawg I heard you hate people saying ManU so we put a ManU in your ManU so you can hate while you hate.

Hey Dipanjan! Man, U wont believe the way these guys are disrespecting your team.
Anyways here are my predictions for nest season we will win 1-0 with ManU Adebayor scoring and Manuel (I was really careful here in order not to disrespect your team) Almunia saving a penalty.
P.S its not true my granfather (a United fan) told me they were calling the team "Man U" in the early 50's wayy before the Munich Air Disaster.

As I said its just an Internet rumour ,and even if it was that offensive they probably use it in the way black people use the N-word to show that they aren't perturbed by it.

coz most of us don't know what that means. If they do, they respect it. As shown by the members here.

Anyways, my post was only meant for Man Utd fans.

And seriously, do something bad. I mean, real bad. So that I can hate you. Its not good enough....errr bad enough, for me to hate you guys.....

I love ya all.

Exactly. I didn't know about it then. As soon as I came to know about it, I came and informed it here. That's why I said spread the word, right?

Get the point, pal?

Why are there always so many pointless discussions in this thread nowadays?
Anyway, has it actually been confirmed that Gibson, Simpson and Campbell are transferlisted? What games have we got coming up in pre-season?

Confirmed we have Valencia on August 5th at Old Trafford, and an open training day sometime also in August at Old Trafford. The tour is Asia again I believe.

MUTV seemed to indicate that Simmo, Gibson and Campbell are on the list, Hull are looking to get Campbell and Manucho.

Also latest reports suggest we are interested in Karim Benzema and Kyle Naughton of Sheffield United - Though Barca are in pole position for Benzema apparently.

Kyle Naughton is an interesting one, squad replacement for Simpson perhaps? I think the transfer strategy will be dictated by Ronaldo and Tevez' sagas. Although Perez at Real Madrid has now said he values "friendship with United" more than he does Ronaldo. Meaning I assume that if United reject a bid - he won't keep tapping Ronaldo up like Calderon did.

For what it's worth, here is what I'd do this summer;

Out: Simpson, Campbell, Gibson (Loan) (may lose Tevez probably)
In: Glen Johnson, Antonio Valencia, Karim Benzema / Klaus Jan Huntelaar. Plus Wesley Sneijder.

I must admit, I'd like to see sneijder on your team, if he reaches top level(which he will with a coach like fergie) you guys would be sick(Y)(Y)(Y)(Y)
