Its a never-ending cycle. The list goes on and on.

Sometimes I feel we fans take it worst than the players themselves do.

We're not criticizing other teams just for the sake of it, we're merely telling them off because we feel they are wrong to defend their own players' irresponsible actions while they criticize others.

I "bash" and praise United and their players in pretty equal amounts to be honest. Probably no more than I bash or praise any other of our rival clubs though.

If ever I feel moved to comment about a particular incident or incidents in a match, it is not meant as a swipe at that club as a whole. Or indeed it's fans.

Some members of this forum understand that and react accordingly. Unfortunately some members of the forum still insist on taking any critisicm very personally, and turn a debate into an argument.

I've been guilty of that myself in the past but I've been working at it for some time now, and I see now how patheticly juvenile it is.

Are you trying to insinuate that only people from Ireland are brought up to make a stand and be proud shunning those that try to walk on them. I think that describes over 50% of the population in every country in the world. Doesn't mean they go around crunching bones.
