Ronney took it short???? Or Giggs started it itself.

well, I don't care for it very much, but just the way Giggs started it and the way he protested to the referee was so awful.

Yeah Rooney gave the ball a touch and left it there for Giggs then Giggs took the ball dragged it along and crossed. so its Rooney who took the corner. That was a bit confusing, even the Chelsea players looked confused, but its supposed to be a legal goal since its Rooney who gave the ball a touch first.

EDIT: look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tgtvDSwReI

Look at the 40th second and you will understand ;)

I'm glad that replay became goal because it was very frustrating to not have the first one. I

Yeah it was a very clever and original way of taking a corner. Chelsea's defence were caught of guard. We were unlucky that the ref didn't see Rooney taking it before Giggs put in the cross

Rooney started it and it was perfectly legal. He stopped the ball at the corner flag and rolled it back to Giggs to cross. I get the impression that from this post and your last one on here that you don't like Giggs that much, but the guy is an absolute legend as far as united players go.

And Fergie hardly started the whole thing with Rafa. He just gave his opinion, which wasn't aggressive towards Liverpool or anyone, and then Rafa obviously hasn't played these mind games before and just lost it with Fergie. I'm guessing he thought he'd win against Stoke and we'd get beat by Chelsea. He's been left red faced though.

@ AsmodaiPlay - no, no. I don't have anything against Giggs, but just the way I saw it in TV was really frustrating.

Suits me, Giggs is my favourite player at the club. Not my favourite player out of all teams but my favourite at United. It got me annoyed just listening to it on the radio, but because it was disallowed. Shortlived though after Vidic scored.

Congradulation to Manchester United own, Cristiano Ronaldo, for winning Fifa World Player Award, ManU won all major awards for teams and individuals in a last year.

Who thought that 17 year old player who great Fergi replaces Beckham can win this award one day. All credit to greatest manager of the world!!!

Congrats to all great ManU fans for supporting back RC7.

He can take a turd on their heads...as long as he wins for them United fans will put up with anything from him. All this talk about how he's disrespecting Utd. went out the window the minute he does a fancy move:33vff3o: There's more important things than pride for some and they have shown that.

^ One thing's for sure. If Ronaldo ever goes to Madrid, his days as a top player will quickly be over. That club is like a graveyard for superstars.

PS you're an idiot.

That's not the first time United have tried that corner trick, i think it was Beckham and Giggs did it once. They got told to retake it that time too.

I remember Liverpool doing it at Anfield against Bayer 04 a few years ago as well.
It had to be retaken then as well.
Congrats to CR, a well deserved award.
Wigan tomorrow!

How big is YOUR penis?
Not really a surprise for Ronaldo to win it, he is our first officially FIFA-acknowledged player of the year from isn't he?

David Beckham should've won it in '99 instead of Rivaldo, and you know it...

I saw in many websites that ronaldo signed a deal with real for next session, do you think it's another Calderon's mind game or not?

"Yesterday (Sunday) I saw Manchester United win (3-0 against Chelsea) without Tevez. This isn't good for him," Maradona was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport on Tuesday.

"Certain episodes are certainly bringing closer his exit. Italy and Inter in particular would be excellent solutions.

"What's more, his contract is running out, which makes it easier to change team."

Maradona, who is in Italy to watch Inter's Italian Cup tie against Genoa at the San Siro later on Tuesday, said Atletico Madrid's Argentine striker Sergio Aguero should also consider transferring to Inter.

"What advice would I give him? To come running to Inter," he said. "I can already imagine the extraordinary partnership he'd form with (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic."

Ha! Of all the clubs, why Inter with their current striker situation. He might end up on the bench there as well.......

Evra's out for 4 weeks apparently. O'Shea will probably play I guess. Don't get why Maradona wants Aguero and Tevez at Inter. Although it could work- Crespo will probably leave, Adriano might leave, Cruz could also (but if he doesn't i think he only wants to play 2 more seasons) and I don't think Mourinho likes Mario Balotelli, so that only leaves Ibrahimovic. But Inter usually only have one up front with 2 wingers and a midfield 3.
