Easier than West Ham in recent history.

Fulham was Man Utd's delicious ham.
It is really delicious. I love it :D

We swallowed tough and big ham 'West Ham'.

I think you probably mean "this season". :)

ya, lets talk about future late. I wonder how a bad referee dicison can result. If he didn't send off Lampard, you may won that match. And now you were on a roll and serious contender for a title.

I can show you how we lost 11 points so far this season to bad refereeing. Did you see the game against Hull, where ALL the officials failed to see a Hull defender punch the ball clear of the area from Kalou's shot? That was a penalty, and that would have been 3 points instead of one point. That was been typical of the poor refereeing that has cost us dear this season.

Liverpool game. Lampard off but not Gerrard or Mascherano who were over aggressively violent all through the game.

It just goes on and on for us. Even Graham Poll this week has said that referees in general definately have a "thing" about Chelsea, and he admits that when he refereed a Chelsea game he generally favoured the other side. Now if that is true, then he needs to be dealt with.

It might be Chelsea now, but next season it could be your team.

I was wondering about that statement by Poll, since you posted about that before, do you have a link perhaps with the article about it? I wouldn't mind reading about it because I seem to have missed it.
And well, like I've been saying, I'm not writing Liverpool or Chelsea off at the moment. If we don't win our game in hand and maybe slip up in another game then they could potentially be right back in it. A little like last season where everyone was saying it's between us and Arsenal.
We're in an excellent position at the moment and we need to stay focused, we've been in this position before and have ended up with nothing at all.
We've got an international break and then we finally play that damned game in hand. Then we'll see how much of an advantage we have over Liverpool, who seem to be back on track even though their performances have been less than impressive, which is the hallmark of Champions as been said and proven countless times before.

it depends to their new manager and confidence, 13 more match = 39 points on the grab, so still anything's possible but with villa in the mix and their possible trips to Villa and Arsenal, I don't like their odds.

I thought I was in the Chelsea thread for a moment... what's with all the Chelsea love :innocent_smile_1: Villa for 2nd place! we can dream. Anyone noticed how they have 6 players on the England team eek... only 2 united players. Guess ours are injured.

on a side note, was watching Paddy crerand show LIVE from MALTA yesterday and sir alex appeared to answer some qns posed by the fans. One of them asked fergie if he had to choose btw the CL, PL and FA cup this season. what would it be. After a pause for 2 secs, fergie said CL is on top of the list. Rightly so, cuz a club of our stature should be winning more european cups.
