I heard on German TV that Fergie was pissed off at Wellbeck before the Blackburn game?
Anyone hear anything about that?

Yeah its crap. The Sun posted it first I think. Apparently Fergie was angry because after he scored the goal the other day he was very arrogant and puffed his chest out like Cantona.

If you watch the reply he really didn't do much. The papers stirring crap. Even if it was true why in hell would he get mad over a goal celebration. Ridiculous. Besides he was on the bench next game ready for use.

As for the game tonight, I'm worried. There playing well and were due a loss, big defensive injuies. That said we been playing really well too. Big game, cant wait.

looks like rafael is injured as well. the 6 defenders in the squad for the inter game are: Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, O'Shea, Evans, Fabio da Silva, Adam Eckersley. With both O'Shea and Evans doubtful.

From skysports, Evans is also injured.

United go into the game with defensive headaches with Nemanja Vidic suspended, while Jonny Evans, Wes Brown, Gary Neville and Rafael da Silva are injured. John O'Shea is also struggling.

So we're left with only these 5 defenders: Ferdinand, Evra, O'Shea, Fabio, Eckersley. With O'Shea doubtful.

I hope O'shea makes it. With O'shea and Ferdinand in the centre, I think we'll be quite solid, but then again we don't have a right back. But Fletcher can play there as well, with Scholes and Carrick in centre midfield. If O'shea doesn't make it then we're screwed. We'll be left with only Ferdinand as centre back.

Though Evra is one of the best LB in the world but he should get in best 11 of France though. How is Abidal doing?

I say play carrick at RB i don't trust o'shea. If o'shea makes it and is starting i think he will be weak link (obviously)

I think it's only a sore heel so he's probably ok. Fletcher would probably be a better choice at RB, but Carrick could do it.

Carrick is far too important in the centre of the park to be put at RB, he also lacks the pace. Fletcher suits the job, more pace and generally a more versatile player and you damn well he'll work his bollocks off.

Carrick at RB instead of O'shea? Are you kidding me? Carrick's never been played at this position. He could do well, but we've got better options with Fletcher or O'shea at right back. I don't know why so many people despise O'shea. He's obviously not first team quality, but the fact that he can play in many positions brings a huge bonus to the team. He can even play GK when needed haha, which he did once against Tottenham.

I remember that game well, he did a great job there, and you're absolutely right about him Nady, he's no frills but he comes in and does a job when asked to. A more important player than a lot of people may think.

naw Fletcher wouldn't eb as good as Carrick at RB Fletcher more offensive minded. Carrick has played RB before and was good he'd be the best choice in my opinion. O'shea hasnt had much play time lately and if he makes it it'll be barely so i wouldn't put him in such a big match game like this right off the bat its to much of a risk Especially in the away game where Away goals are key. But we will see im sure no matterwho they put there they will do good.

Regardless Vidic shouldn't of been banned for ths match not only did the decision come MONTHS after the incident which is stupid The red card was against a club that isn't even in europe and has nothing to do with a european competition and frankly they broke there own rules Cause the rule was a red card only in CL will count for a player to miss a match in CL i'm sure other players have got red cards in club world cup and how come they never miss a CL match yet Vidic does? Frankly i think that decision was hate towards Man U there is no other logical reason behind this stupid call

but **** happens and not having Vidic isn't an excuse if man u lose. I frankly don't care that much if vidic is banned or not but still stating that the decision was stupid. I'm confident man u won't have much trouble with Inter.
If Inter get a goal it'll most likely come from a defensive mistake.

He's played a bit lately. Filled in for Evra when he was injured and has covered at RB a couple of times.

yah but oshea hasn't played enough espiacally with the injury ontop. Which if he makes it will be bothering him he entire match which will damage his performance. If he didn't have this little injury he'd be fine just with a lack of play time and an injury being put in such a huge match its really tough.

Safest bet is to go with Carrick. but SAF knows what he is doing and am cofident he will make the right choice.

But you will see some effort of O'Shea as super alternative of Fergi.
Like GK or scoring only goal in match againt Liverpool

O'shea has to be one of the most reliable player you can have, he can do a decent job in any position. He has the club in his heart and blood, he always gives his all

must admit i'm a bit surprised there's no Rooney in the starting lineup. Glad to see O'Shea and Evans both fit (Y)

Fletcher and Carrick need to be dominant in midfield. We all know that Fletcher thrives on games like this, time for Carrick to step up too.
