Chelsea made an offer for Robinho and entered a negotiation stage, Madrid then halted the proceedings because they couldn't sign Cazorla or Villa, Chelsea have not talked to Robinho without Madrid's permission and have not gone to the press about him. I think the only times anyone discussed him was when Kenyon and Scolari said something about him being a good player. There's no comparing the Robingo saga to the Ronaldo or Berbatov saga.

That was the time I meant regarding Kenyon, but if these were the same situations, why did Tottenham report/threaten to report ManU and Madrid have had no qualms with Chelsea?

Because Madrid just wouldn't shut up about Ronaldo for half a year. Would have looked very hypocritical of them. And they are also not sore losers.

They made those complaints based on the quotes from Fergie which he didnt even say. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/7513117.stm

It turns out those quotes were from some Norwegian fan site. I doubt you will find these quotes anywhere now.

I'll stop discussing the Robinho thing here, because it ain't the place, but I'm disappointed at seeing pretty much every club be so goddamn hypocritical about transfers.

Anyway, does anyone know why Rio goes to Israel every year? Is he jewish or something?

The bid has been accepted by spurs. Man City has offered more than 30 millions, so now its up to Berbatov whether he wants to join city or not. Man City has to hold talks with him.. Would be strange if city sign him. manu has been trying to get him the whole summer and city comes at the last minute and get their bid accepted! Anyway 30 millions for a 28 year old is a bit too much imo.

EDIT: BTW Saha has completed his move to everton. He has signed a 2 year contract.

Tottenham are biggest idiots in the world if they let Berbatov join City. Instead of selling their two best forwards to teams that won't influence their competition, they are selling them to two of their direct rivals (Liverpool for CL spot and City for UEFA Cup spot). You got to be stupid to do that. But then again, 30 million isn't a bad deal for them either, just the club they are selling to could comeback and bite them hard come the end of the season.
