agreed, no need for sour grapes just because he wants to leave us at some point. The fact is he will have been with us 6 years end of this season and helped win us multiple competitions. If he still wishes to move on... so be it.

End of the day if you had a job I'm pretty sure you would milk the company for all there worth and then move on to the next. I.e. location, the company car, training payed by them etc. Then move onto the next company paying more with your new experince, rince and repeat.

According to the media, Jaap Stam is back with United as a scout. Nice if it's true, the way he left United was a big dissapointment - Fergie has said he regrets it.

Also the media were trying to claim Berbatov wants to play for AC Milan - even trying to make quotes up! Mind you there's no club football for two weeks is there?

Funny how these "quotes" appear when the players are away from the club isn't it?

Just found this

so it looks as though Stam is back.

Rooney scoring again. Hope he keeps it up, really worried he's going to get injured. Something always seems to happen whens things start to gel for him, then bang.

Yeah, he looks absolutely lethal at the moment. Just read some comments by Tevez, he says that he's had to sacrifice scoring himself in order to help the team, but he's vowed to get his record back. One paper tried to say he blamed Sir Alex, but he's actually just stating the Premiership is a different style.

I feel kind of sorry for Carlitos right now, he's been consistently our best player this season, but when we bought Berba he's been on the bench too much (but Berba needs games)

Haven't heard anything about any new United injuries - touch wood so we're looking in good shape for the Baggies.

I don't mind telling you, but when the ref chalked off the goal I began to get the feeling that it was gonna be one of those days. Second half though we really ramped it up, Wazza was brilliant, Rafael had a good solid game too and Berba looked the best I've seen him in a United shirt. Glad we finally gave someone a right hiding at Old Trafford, the goals are starting to flow.

One negative for me was the body language and constant play acting of one Cristiano Ronaldo, frankly it was embarrassing, and It left a bad taste in my mouth when he turned his back on the Stretford End after scoring. If he wants to build bridges with the support, and convince us his heart isn't in Madrid - that's not the way to do it. Loved Nani's "shall I shan't I" before the backflip!

In any case, it was a great performance, good result and we're up at the business end of the table again. Looking forward to the Celtic game on Tuesday night, I'd like to see if this Aiden McGeady is any good as he's been linked with us. Plus we owe Celtic one for Nakamura's free kick a couple of seasons back. Barring Evra (Hamstring), looks like the same lineup.

Help?

Frankly, I think by the start of next season Nani will be more than capable to come in and carry the team the same way Ronaldo did last season. Then we'll sign some other winger that's good and cheaper and we'll end up better off without Ronaldo. If you think about it, keeping Ronaldo even just for one more season could do lots in terms of getting Nani to a level where he can dominate games.

I don't know about you but i found it strange that he didn't really seem to celebrate scoring. I know Berba didn't really either but thats his way and he did sort of stick his arms in the air. Anyway on Ronaldo i think his heart may be elsewhere, although i'm not going to be too quick to judge him on that, as i've said i'll see how he is in the next few games.

McGeady is pretty good in Scotland, but this is the SPL we're talking about. Two other things on him- I think sir Alex tried to sign him as a schoolboy but he went for Celtic instead and also he played the last time these teams met.

Nani strikes me as more of a team player than Ronaldo, he's more willing to do the defensive stuff too - also he does a lot less tricks than Cristiano - he is more sparing with the fancy stuff and does tend to get a shot/pass away faster.

If / when Ronaldo goes, I'll miss his dazzling skills - but as I said, the way he carries on diving and winging is really wearing thin. As for names, short of Lionel Messi, Kaka or Ribery - I have no idea. But to be honest, Cristiano Ronaldo has ruined my year enough. I'm concentrating on those who want to be 100% United.
