Many people say that City, Chelsea and Liverpool did better than us during transfer period. First of all, unlike them, we were champions and UCL runner up so we didn't have many whole in our team. We signed some good player who already impressed everyone:
Young : he already made his mark
Jones : he's young and plays so mature, great replacement for Rio/Vidic
De Gea: has talent but should improve and adapt fast, big games are ahead.
Also, return of Tom Cleverly and his level are like another good signing. Ando played well with him so far. If Ando-Tom works, we will have a great year ahead.
I team we have a great team and I'm really faithful in all of them.
I'm a big fan of Sneijder but I don't know he could fit in our 4-4-2 system, he plays his best as attacking midfielder not central one. Perhaps his style is more useful in Europe but Rooney can play in a same role behind chicharito and I think Young can do it as well.
We have almost 2 or 3 quality player for each post.
C'mon United, we want EPL # 20 and UCL this year.

Watched Sneijder again tonight for the Netherlands, I love watching him play. I still think he would fit well into our squad. The main problem would be that he would limit the amount of time the younger ones get to play. However, we still lack creativity in the middle of the park.

5-0 and thats an away game! Remember how hard it was to score or win last season? What an improvement. We have been much much more clinical this season. Don't know what has changed but something has changed. Rooney in particular is being much more accurate in his shots.
I love how our young centre backs are so versatile. Jones and Smalling can play very well at RB and Evans can play at LB. Evans btw has surprisingly been playing very well in Vidic's absence at CB.
I hope Cleverley is not out for too long. Thats unfortunate because he played very well so far but always great to have the experience of Carrick, Fletcher or Giggs as backup for central modfield.
