Robben, Essien, Mikel, RONALDINHO were all "done deals". I won't believe this until he signs or when its on skysports. The Ronaldinho "done deal" was even on skysports.

EDIT: Okay Kagawa confirmed that he met Ferguson but the contract has not yet been discussed yet and the agent might screw up things as well. The complicated part has not yet started. This is what he said too:

"I want to think hard before making my decision," he added. "I want to choose a team where I can take on challenges."

Which means he hasn't made up his decision yet. Wouldn't be surprised if C*ty came and offered him a bigger salary even though they don't need him. It will be hard for him to resist.

Actually, if City and ManU ever go after the same player, I can't imagine ManU winning. City have a lot more money, they've established their pedigree and success and they're both in the same city. The ONLY things ManU have over City is their history (which counts for nothing unless they're sentimental or are ManU fans) and maybe better playing opportunities, which depends on their position, and still, as many a player have shown before, often times money trumps time on the pitch.

City obviously beat pretty much anyone in England, but at least the London clubs can offer a better city to live in, and it's not like Chelsea can't afford high wages.

I just get the feeling (probably based on stereotypes) that Kagawa grew up a United fan like everyone else in Asia, and wants to play for them. Like being a United player in his mind is the pinnacle of the profession.

And I'm guessing Hazard is going to City. Would they go for both

only to piss us off, but City already won the title, so they shouldn't care anymore.

He might want to come here but we haven't heard anything about the transfer fee and wages yet. They need to come to an agreement first to be able to say that its a done deal.

This deal is far from done unless they discussed about what we don't already know of. Kagawa didn't disclose any details on the "discussions" he had with Ferguson.

Heard this wack rumour:

"According to sources near a natural central midfielder, who can win the ball and even work back at times, is close to a move to Manchester United. The central midfielder, who United actually need, is said to be a life-long Man United fan and would play for the Red Devils eventhough city rivals and champions, Manchester City, are ready to offer twice the wages and have promised they'd put a paper bag over Carlos Tevez's face to hide the ****s ugly mug."

Tevez at it again. The guys not right in the head, I bet he will be worse this season after getting away with the City fiasco.

Looks like we were about to sign Diame from Wigan, but had to cancel the deal because of his heart condition.

Solskjaer could be on his way to manage Aston Villa. Let the rumours about him coming to replace Fergie in few years begin!

15 goals for a team playing in the forth tier of English football.

The Kagawa rumours are dead. I have a feeling the deal will fall out. I hope not.

I personally prefer Kagawa but Hazard would be awesome as well. I think Hazard is less likely because of City will probably offer a huge salary. I don't think we can even match Chelsea's salary offer.

Seriously... the lads barely 18, he's a prospect for the reserves not starting line up.

Kagawa has also said he will decide his future after Japan's internationals. Towards the end of June I believe.

Hazard said he will join Chelsea, City or us and said he will consider where he will play more and what position. Out of the 3 teams, he will definitely play more with us but I'm pretty sure his decision will be based on salary in the end.

I think Hazard would get more time at Chelsea compared to others and keep position, not saying he will definitely go there. So I think Kagawa would be better to fit United in terms of behind Rooney or central midfielder.
