Hahahahaha the fan who handed it to him was probably like "it stands for 'Great Season, Fergie". Still think it's being blown out of proportion, that was in response to a 2009 interview in which Fergie was asked if City would ever win the league and become the best team in Manchester, in which he responded "not in my lifetime". An official apology's already been released by City and Tevez.

Wah wah wah wahhhhhhhhhhhh, honestly that's all I can think every time I read one of your posts. Wahhhhhhhhh we want more money to sign players, wahhhhhhhhhhh Glazers this Glazers that, wahhhhhhhhhhhh Carlos implied that Fergie's old and cant be too far from the cold hands of death.

Someone had asked him whether Manchester United will ever go into a derby match as underdogs and for 15 seconds or more he eyed his inquisitor, the hint of a glint in those narrow eyes, and you wondered whether that individual or Manchester City would be on the receiving end of the full force of his opinion. "What time is it?" he said, at last. "I think it is time for me to leave." And as he clambered from his seat, an answer to that question... "Not in my lifetime."

After reading this I actually quite enjoyed the sign. As much as I respect the senile old ****, I hate him just as much for his smugness.

He really is the worst. He's such a mind games and tactical genius to the fellating British press, but when he loses he's a total ******* dick and never gets called out for it. But maybe my opinion is just typical for a German.

Kinda funny, total fixation with United. Most people congratulate, talk about the epic season, the great games. City Fans more interested in Trolling United... Even the players.

There really is this unhealthy fixation with City over United.

That's pretty normal. If Chelsea win the final, I'm spending the entire next season replying to everything in the Bayern thread with 'that's true, but you lost last year's CL final.' And I'd expect nothing less from the Bayern fan(s).

lol theres a difference between a little ribbing and the total fixation of City over United, winning titles or otherwise.

Hope this Kagwa thing comes in early and doesn't drag on all season.

Kagawa is definitely a done deal. Don't waste a second wondering about it, he will be at United next season.

For the life of me is has me confused though. He really doesn't seem like a 4-4-2 midfielder to me, he's a classic #10. Which is fine, United have had success in a 4-2-3-1 in the past, particularly in Europe, but like you said earlier "this is good for Chicharito"... okay... well Rooney is your #10 in 4-3-3 variations, isn't he? I have a hard time seeing how this works. I suppose the most natural position for him in your team is kind of like how van der Vaart plays for Spurs, but again that would probably move Rooney to #9 and drop Chicharito. Good player though.

Well, there was an article saying that Ferguson was looking at Lewandowski, which would be perfect for the 4-2-3-1 and has a bit of a contract dispute with Dortmund. I'm thinking if they get him, Chicharito is either on his way out or will ride the bench until he forces his way out of Man U, because Wellbeck seems to be higher in the pecking order despite not being more than adequate.

Haven't a clue but that's why SAF gets the wonga :D Perhaps just rotation of players and formations.

4-4-1-1
4-5-1

maybe something crazy like

------Vidic - Rio - Evans-----
Valencia ------------- Young
-------Carrick - Scholes------
------Rooney ---- Kagawa----
-----------Hernandez--------

----------De Gea--------

Rafael - Vidic - Rio - Evra

Nani -- Cleverley -- Young

----Rooney -- Kagawa----

---Hernandez/Welbeck----

Help?

Kagawa certainly seems more like a passer than Hazard. Why can't he play in a 4-4-2 with Scholes or Carrick sitting back?
