Rather than be worried that a a very talented player, one which is rated at 30m or more, might be signed by a prime competitor, and could play for them for the next 10 years (which is stupid, since that'd count as judging players on an individual basis), we should be glad, because you have a sweeping generalisation to save the day.

+ Powell can play there as well and I think he will be United wild card this year

yeah we need DM, more than players like Lucas.

We have just 4 midfields now:
Scholes
Anderson
Carrick
Cleverly
Giggs can play there as well but he is not defensive

if we play Kagawa as AM, we need a quality DM for sure. I don't know, maybe Fergie wants to use Jones in that area this year. He played few matches last year as DM but we didn't do well in none of them.
