Um... the ball is about to be shot, it doesn't make sense to have your foot completely on the ground as that won't block anything. Is it a penalty? Yeah maybe, he was late and took the player out, but it wasn't bad or malicious or anything.

I don't see how the fact that it was 2 feet from the goal line matters. It was a bad challenge. He was absolutely nowhere near the ball.

Studs up isn't sufficient to make a tackle dirty. I know some cultures feel differently about that.

It's not a tackle, it's a block. He was trying to block the shot, turned his face away, and got Chicharito. No malice or intent.

bs if he was trying to block the ball he would have aimed his foot at the ball, not at Chicharitos knee and top it off he swings the right foot and clips him again on the foot where he originally made contact and that is not a natural movement of a tackle.

Not inherently, but they tend to look far worse/do more damage when one does unintentionally connect with an opponent's shin. It's always a risky proposition.

33/2 is still 16.5, 4.5 more than ronnie. so even if thats true, he still is performing 'better.' otoh, the two year age difference is a bigger deal; nani's approaching the age where you're at your peak performances, so to expect him to improve much more might be unreasonable.

still, portugal better start performing; those two playing on the same team is seriously scary on paper.

nani is getting better.He is an amazing talent.For me he is the best RW at united now.Would valencia fit in as an RB ?

How come no other players complain about our medical system then? One of the reasons why United is so successful is because United has an excellent medical system with great facilities. Besides, Hargreaves was allowed to see his own personal doctor while he was injured.

1-1 against Stoke Away. This had to happen after a brilliant start of the season. I think we did well but I'm gutted with the number of injuries. Chicharito and Rooney injured and possibly Evra too. 3 starters injured on the same day.

Berbatov and Owen were both useless up front but credits for the Stoke defence. They have been very solid. Defence and midfield did well but we missed that spark in the middle that Cleverley/Rooney would provide.
