I didnt notice Ronaldo do anything (except look as he if was about to cry when subbed off). Maybe i wasnt paying attention to him enough. I dont know what you mean by 'best of the worst', as Fortune and Heinze were Utd's most lively and involved players.

The best part of the game was that Milan still have a lot to improve on, and Kaka and Rui Costa are much better players than yesterday's performances. If they play at their best in return leg than its curtains for UTD
Zanetti could give a run for Cafu's money though. Zanetti is very fast and skillful too. I think he is the RB, right? If not then nevermind.

Fortune? Then you weren´t really paying attention. If your prejudice wasn´t blinding you, you could have seen that the best chance for United to score was setup by Ronaldo. If the majority of the United fans were saying that Fortune should have been subbed, that means that he wasn´t doing much. Ronaldo was subbed because he doesn´t have the same influence or rank as Giggs on United. Giggs prolly made his worst game of the season and still managed to play the 90 minutes.
The Cafu part was based on some remarks that i read recently from Milan fans. I know that he is a great player and has nothing to prove, hell i´ve watched him closely since he was on Palmeiras. I don´t think you know him as well because i suspect that by the level of intelligence/short memory basis on your posts, you must be a rather young person.

Look closer Mikey...... Ronaldo was our most dangerous player because of his excellent first touch. Like Vinnie Jones said he and Rooney were the best of the worst, Scholes had a good chance but other than that his first touch was horrible, you shouldn't have to sprint after the ball after receiving it from a teammate. Pressure probably played a part as well, Milan triple-marked you whenever the ball came your way.

Anyways this thread should be just about closed now, its time to look ahead :)

The UTD fans here were against Fortune even playing before kickoff and they all love Ronaldo so i wouldnt use that as a valid backing to prove your point. But obviously im wrong and your right seeing as Sir Alex Ferguson subbed him out (agreeing with me) while SG members felt he should stay on.

Oh, and I'm 19. I'll be sure to slap my mom in the face for not having me 5 years earlier so i could be older now.

I thought Fortune had a pretty good game compared to Scholes, Giggs and perhaps even Ronaldo. He won the ball in midfield a couple of times and provided able support for Roy Keane, and also joined in a couple of attacks. If anything, I think perhaps Scholes should have been substituted (that's hard for me to say as he's my favourite player). His first touch had been poor all day and although he improved in the second half, he didn't seem to be anywhere near his best.

You can disagree with a manager (not that you can have any influence on him although). Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I saw alot of posts who were against Ronaldo being subbed and i thought the same since Ronaldo, even if he wasn´t playing a great match, was behind United´s best chance (who knows he could have done it again). If we look at the results at a practical point of view and since United ended up losing, we can argue about the merits of such substitution. Opinions, everyone has opinions. I remember reading your usual uninformed nonsense, saying that Deco wasn´t world class and that he would prolly fail in Spain. Now go to the Barcelona thread and ask them about how he is doing.

You are 19? You are an intriguing case for any Science Academy. A nineteen year old with the maturity of a 5 year old. Even Piaget (with his study " The construction of Reality in a child") couldn´t explain this. You missed your cognitive process, mate.

It was a shame that Ronaldo was brought off, because even though he was largely ineffective during the game, whenever he had the ball he had looked menacing.

The problem was that he didn't have enough of the ball.

Fortune played a very good first half whilst his second half performance was perhaps understandly less so.

But at the end of the day the manager is there to make decisions, and if Ruud had scored from a Fortune cross after coming on then we won't be having this discussion.

Nah, my problem isn´t with anybody who attacks portuguese related issues, my problem is just with you. It´s kinda like a new hobby now since i have to stay home to study for exams. It gives me great satisfaction to verbally abuse you because you are no challenge at all (waiting for your e-thugging picture since you are always so original and fresh).
Yes and you are stupid and immature, just look at the nominations you had on that forum awards thread.
