Keane was acting a cunt(not for the first time either) and had a go at Cristiano Ronaldo for trying to chip the ball over the goalkeeper from a rebound earlier in the game. Then Keane ushered the other players back to the center circle and didn't even congratulate Ronaldo for his goal.

Legend he is, but like Schmeichel as a person he is a bit of a cunt.

I bet Rio Ferdinand ran farther than him. Keane needs to be that bit of captain that supports every player and not have a go at other players.

A bit disappointing that from Keano. Same thing happened with Fletcher in the West Brom match last week. When they were celebrating one of the goals Keane gave him an earful about something, he was almost crying and didn't even celebrate with the others.

I don't know if any of you noticed it.

That's a shame really. His career has really been on a downward spiral, I dont know why on earth he wants to go back to Ireland. He is a legend though but i think it's time to give Djemba or Kleberson an extended run in the first team now.

Well look who has sand in her vagina... You wanna suggest any better eh? We dont exactly have Xabi Alonso or Steven Gerrard at our disposal now do we? What exactly does Keane do now tell me. Is he a midfield general anymore? Is he box to box anymore? Does he score from midfield anymore? How much assists did he have? All I've seen him do is pass the ball around, give up freekicks, shout at people etc. Kleberson can pass better and be a more creative influence. The way it stands keane tackles no better than Kleberson so what you want?

Idiots these days...

He played in that position when he was in Brazil and played there for Brazil during the past World Cup. He can play as an attacking or defensive midfielder.

Lemme guess, you play championship manager so you assume that without a 'DMC' a team wont work...WRONG. In his day, Keane was a midfield general going up and down the pitch, chasing every ball pulling no punches, scoring goals making assists. Is he that player anymore? NO. Therefore we work with what we have. That's why the center of midfield is our biggest problem. Right now, Keane does not tackle better than Kleberson or Djemba x2, no matter how crappy anyone thinks they are. That's why we hardly win the ball in midfield, but our defense do their jobs now that Rio is back. What's the point having a defensive midfielder in the team, when all he does is throw his mouth around and do basic things. Kleberson is a much better passer, a much better crosser, a much better finisher, a better dribbler so why not give him a chance? Hes building up body mass behind the scenes and working hard to improve physically.

Look at the match against Fenerbahce in the CL when we played Kleberson and Djemba in the same team....didn't exactly collapse now did we?:rolleyes:

Whoa you must be losing it. Kleberson is a WAAAAAAAY better passer than Keane..WAAAAY better passer. I dont think you've seen enought of the Brazilian. Djemba, yeah he can't really pass, but Kleberson? Omfg put down your crack pipe.

Accept it, Keano is declining and he must and will be replaced...

Why not? If that defensive midfielder is not imposing himself in midfield that much I dont see why not. For brazil kleberson played a more withdrawn role. He'll do nothing different, he'll get back and close down and tackle just like Keane, except he'll be even more creative.

We're really between a rock and a hard place in terms of that position though.:(

In the games Kleberson's played for us, have you ever seen him command a midfield against any formidable opposition or anybody at all in the way Keane used to do and still does at times?
