I agree with you, I think he'd be good short-term replacement for Keano while we look for a long-term replacement. Phil's done a hell of a job whenever he's been called upon to play in that role.

apparently, from redcafe.net, I read that ronaldo was given a good rollicking by Keano and Gary Neville. For his selfish play and trying to scrore in a fancy way. It's just in his blood really.


he got pretty upset and apparently Heinze yelled at Keano and told him to get off his back. In what language, I do not know =P


I'm sure all will be fine soon anyway. Rio and Giggsy will sort it out.

Good job by Keane and Gary The kid could be brilliant one day but he is sometimes way too selfish. However what they did is positive in helpin` him to develop his game in the man`s competition. As last night showed, he rarely lose the ball anymore, well in the first half he still as individualistic as he is, I even heard the commentators said "His only contribution so far is to fall over". But second half started ( with a possibility of good bashin` from the seniors in the locker room ), the kid showed what he is capable of.

And Heinze Anyone who dares to yell at Keane gotta have one big balls. The guy is a future captain !!!!!

Keane and Gary did the right thing, if that's what they did. I can bet you, after the game Ronaldo got a good yelling from Alex Ferguson as well. You can't miss those opportunities and it's not whether it's in your blood or not to try and do it fancy. Look what Keane did, 3 minutes later Ronaldo scores his first goal of the season. If nobody yelled at him for that miss, then he would have taken it lightly and maybe did it again, but now if he gets the same opportunity, he will think twice about how to strike that ball. Keane is not a player that will always yell at you off the field, but on the pitch he will make sure that you do no mistakes and i mean NO MISTAKES or ...

Plus it would have been worse for Ronaldo if nobody said anything to him about the miss during the game and then he would receive a bashing from Fergie and his morale would drop big, but that way he would be expecting something from Fergie and i know he did get something from him.

i remember at second. while ronaldo sprinting at the left side, commentator said "catch me if you can"

we played well in this game. 30+ shots attempts and 10+ shots on.
Rooney, Ronaldo always shoot some great long shots but the ball seems not want to go into the net...

we won 3-0 and keep cleen sheet again.

PS. i m now 16 and winning 3-0 is a good birthday gift for me

I agree, I think Kleb can do well if he gets his chances, he had a good start last year, after his injuries it became hard for him to adapt. And the boy is a WC winner, come on!! he showed what he is capable of during the WC and all people do is complain about him, that isn't going to help him gain his trust, look at Scholes he had a difficult period, he couldn't get into games, he couldn't score etc.... But still people stood behind him and look at him now, he is doing well, it can go the same way with Kleb if he gets his chances to prove himself

Klebo's crosses and long shots are very good. but he doesnt have the chance to play in every game, so he may not play very well when he comes on the pitch. He is a good player with good technique. i hope he will be a better version of Veron in United.

He'll never make it at United, we have Scholes and Rooney who basically play in the same position. He'll never be anything but a squad player. I have a feeling he would do well in Spain, though.
