I think for now LvG will play with the same formation as against Burnley with Falcao instead of van Persie who has been horrendous. Rojo, Shaw or Blind as LWB and Valencia or Young as RWB. Rojo or Blind as LCB, probably Rojo.

But Welbeck is a gem especially in England. When given a good run of games as a striker, he will be very effective.

What a crazy summer window that has been. I have mixed feelings but that was way better than last season.

We have generally paid way more for most players except Rojo and Blind. A 28 year old striker Falcao has been brought in for a potential crazy $65 millions (we got van Persie for one third that price) and Welbeck, a striker with huge potential has been sold for 16 millions. What will happen in 3-4 years?

We only bought 1 CB (Rojo) but Blind can play there but this area is very concerning. We have conceded 7 goals this season including Dons and 5 or 6 of them were from defensive mistakes. Would Rojo and Blind be able to significantly improve our defense? Maybe slightly.
