Actually, Argentina is quite a big country for your information ;)

Because it's fun to wind up ye englishmen.;)

I have 2 opinions in this. First i don't understand why people says these goals are great, c'mon it should've been disallowed. Second i don't understand why people call the player a "cheat" when in reality it's the referee and the linesmen who are "idiots".(:/)

Well call me old fashioned but I just think that the player SHOULD NOT even think about punching the ball into the net. I really do not simply blame the officials for not spotting it.

A player should have honour and self belief. To be happy to score a goal like that is a sign of a bad sportsman and a .....cheat. There is no other word for it.

By the way I DO NOT see any reason why this discussion has to feature in any way on the country that Messi was born in. This is about an individual and not an entire Nation.

Sad thing is, that players, most of the player, let's say 95% of them, don't have any honour at all, in or outside the pitch.:(

People are overreacting just because it was Messi.

I mean, it's a great goal, but I think Maradona's "hand of God" was definitely better. Besides it was against Espanyol and with a Spanish ref, so it is easier. Maradona did in a WC against England.

DT you aint fooling anyone with these stupid comments man. You're just looking for an argument, preferably with an Englishman. Way too obvious mate :)

Nah its about cheating and its just a coincidence that THIS cheat plays for the club you support.

Don't take it all so personally mate. I'm sure Messi don't give a rats arse what happens to you in your life or me in mine. :)

You're wrong, pede.

I don't take it as something personal. I was making fun.

This is just the thread that ShearerM4 opens every month since Messi scored that goal against Getafe..

Pathetic is the fact that he was celebrating as if it were a great goal and everyone in the stands and pitch followed....then Tamudo scored and everyone became pathetic even more. Poor saps. Barca will never be as big as us.

Oh OK mate. I didn't realise that this subject was "Episode 2" from a previous"discussion". My mistake, sorry.

His celebration was indeed sickening for me. Although what was worse was seeing Eidur witness the cheating and celebrating like everyone else. There was a time in Eidur's career when seeing something like that would disgust him. No longer it seems.

It doesn't make any difference to me. I don't care one way or the other about Madrid or Barca, or any of their players. I just hate cheating. Yeah even when Englishmen do it.
