i felt this forum needed one of these threads as alot of forums have them and their always a good read,this is for all your ml stories,your team,season,players etc,hopefully it'll become a sticky

anyway ill start:

playing as arsenal at the moment on 5*,just started my second season,im in division1 at the mo after winning the cup and league in div 2

my team at the beginning was:

Almunia
Lauren Toure Campbell/Hoyte Cole/Clichy

L'berg/Pires/ Viera/Pennant Fabregas Pires/V.Persie
Pennant /Reyes

Henry Reyes/Van Persie

Almunia: started every game except for 1,solid throughout,conceeded very few goals,worryingly like most gks he stats delined throughout,Hildebrand is my new keeper and his stats go up thankfully,very solid gk,lehmann used as an exchange

Lauren: probably the most innocuous player of my first season,i tended to concentrate my attacks down the left,did very liitle wrong,suprisingly won best overall palyer in the d2 cup,started new season at rb again,stats declined

Toure: a rock at the back,really came into his own when he partnered hoyte at the back,with a balance stat of 92 very few players bustle by him,played every game unless fatigued,stats improved gradually over the year,started new season at cb

Campbell :excellent also,my defense were never ever really pressurised severely,because of declining stats hoyte was given more chances and his stas while still very average have improved sharply,both started on the bench this season

Cole :stats sadly declined too,suffered from terrible fatigue,rested every 2nd game but of my side backs he was the more impressive offensively,started at lb this season

Clichy robably the biggest surprise of the year,improved 1pt with every 2 games,fantastic going forward,by the end of the year some of his stats had improved by 8 pts,will rotate with cole at lb this season

Ljungberg :not his biggest fan,largely went missing for most games,as i said tended to concentrate my attacks down the left,stats declined,sold to benfica for 11000pes during off season

Pennant :always reliable in whatever position,played at lb at times,stats stayed the same except his stamina improved 1 pt,started new season on bench

Viera a solid season,found wanting going forward,particurly his wayward shooting,stats declined,no major stand out moments,stats declined

Fabregas replaced de pedro at blackburn with him(ie made him using de pedro),because of this his age (was 31)declining stats,solid season,replaced by gerrard for new season

Pires good season,not having a decent left peg meant he had to cut back on his right a lot.worked well with henry,stats also declined,started new season on the right for ljungberg

Van Persie another wonderful find,having aggresion in the 90s meant on a red arrow form he was fantastic,scored a cracker after coming in from the left in 1game which meant he stood out for the rest of the season,stats improved very well also.at least 8-9 in their 80s now,started new season on the left

Reyes average stats didnt stop him from having a gr8 season,hit 7 goals in the d2 league made him joint top scorer with henry who takes the penos,a major victim of the cpu tripping bug,stats improved,started new season on bench behind new signing martins

Henry called on him when in need of magic,never let me down,gr8 balance and pace,joint top scorer,stats stayed the same,started up front with martins this season,set to take div 1 by storm

bergkamp(no pace,very few games)
aliadiere(sold,no stand out stats meant he strugggled to break though)

OMG how could you sell Fabregas???

His age is only 17 when you start and if you play him in games sub him in the last 20 min a couple of times and train him he becomes a super star VERY quickly.......


For some reason his stats go SHOOTING up very very fast........

also Owusu Abeyies stats shoot up quickly as well

This is a great idea PAULIE. People need a thread like this to let the excitement of the game out of our system (especially a newbie like me).I was thinking of starting a thread like this as soon as get my copy of WE8.I'm doing a ML in WE7I.

fabregas isnt in pes4 or is he?i used de pedro to MAKE him but the master league just defaults the players stats and age so his age was 31 lol and because he was so old his stats didnt improve

After getting promoted from Div.2, i bought Cordoba whose a bit disapointing as hes one of the fastest in the league! Ben Arfa and Barry are developing nicely, Barrys the 4th top goalscorer in Div.1. I'm currently 6th in the table after about 8 games so i'm not doing to bad at the moment, I think i'll try to buy Kompany or Morientes a the next transfer window.....

Just aquired Robben WF and Hylo Mina S/OMF (J.A. national). Let go of Nachdecal, Celnili,and in the process of letting go of Harty as free agent.Looking at a couple youngsters Castillo and Oliviera for the future hoping I can develop them.The final game is up next (14th wk) against PES United so didn't want to dissapoint the fans by not making some kind of transfer efforts. Just applied for Lampard hopefully he will except our offer.

Have J.A. in 3rd playing LEAGUE still lots of games to go.One of our main challenges is up next away to the mighty ENGLAND.This is a tall order thats asked of us to fill but if we keep rolling like we are ,we should fill it.The away situation worries me.

I decided to take Liverpool and play at 6*. I sit in 3rd place with one match left and only one point behind the second place team Southhampton. First is unreachable since they have a 4 point lead over me. But what may be a crushing blow to the franchise I lost Steven Gerrard for 17 weeks, grrrrr, with 4 matches left in the season and a cup final to still play.

I'm playing with new club and new players too such as Ivarov, Macco, Ximelez, Castolo, etc...

When 1st played, I've buy Adriano.. But the experience points of him is getting low.. Eg,when I buy him; the offense is 94 but now after 2nd season, its drop to 92... How to improve the experienced of such this player.. I also bought Ronaldinho this new season and it's not improved any experience..

I know that to improve the experience points, the player's age have to be below 30.. But Adriano and Ronaldinho is still below 30..

I also bought Nakata last season,and the experience point is improve. But this new season the experience point of him does not change... He is still below 30 at this new season I've played..

Can somebody help me how to buy a player with high ability and also improve in the experience points when he played???

stats usually drop round 25-26-27 years old. a bit too early in my opinion

anyway, i've started a new 6* ML with Liverpool because i accidentally erased my original ML. i was so pissed.....

I just finished a spectacular 2nd season where I won everything, including the Champions League. The CL final was the best of them all. Man United was my opponent in 5-4 thriller. Mascherano opened the scoring with a powerful dipping volley from outside the area, only for Keano to blast in a low powerful shot inside the area against us. Ruud had a brace and Ronaldo had a Hat-Trick. An extremely powerful Van Der Vaart volley put them away for good.

Van Der Vaart was the best player in the CL and Ronaldo was top scorer with 15 goals.

Season update

my 5 game winning run at the start of my first season in div 1 comes to an end against a steely display by stuttgart,with henry rested martins and reyes struggled to get any sort of link up,martins is looking very much the UNfinished article at the mo.

henry fails to read his runs which he relies so heavily upon,martins make a break 1 way henry plays the ball the other way,reyes feeling hard done by by his recent drop to the bench responds in kind,scoring against birmingham from a beautifully timed henry through ball,he repays in kind by setting up the french talisman who has shot to the top of the goalscorers charts already with 8 goals(4 penalties).

martins pace catches the eye but with very poor ball ctrl and technique struggles with the ball played to feet.he really needs wide open space to run into

gerrard repays his hefty price tag with 6 superb displays,he is my driving force in midfield eclipsing viera completely

hildebrand finds it difficult to settle conceeding easy goals,being beaten at his near post frequently

the rise of fledgelings van persie and clichy result in international call ups

Things are quiet today I've(manager/player) caught a cold between friday and sunday.Still looking foward to doing some shopping after playing the last match tommorow.Need a slu of s/dmf's,1 or 2 omf's c/sb's. I'm going to try and aquire 1 good c/wf, I'm satisfied with the performance of my original F crew, Huyulens played well for us this season, Barota started out well but then cooled off middle season but Costolo rose to the ocassion for us when we needed someone to kick start our engine.
As for our Intl situation we're still not looking forward to the trip to ENG.We could really use the 3pts but if we come out of there with 1pt we'll be more than happy.

We lost our last fixture of the season away to PES United 4 nil.
We started the match out well but in the middle of the second half we cooled off a little. I feel as though we were already looking toward the new season. As we entered the off season (10th round neg.) we aquired LAMPARD from ENG,DRYDEN from JAMAICA and renewed alot of contracts of the original crew eg:KELSON,COSTOLO BAROTA,VALENY etc. Looking to get off to a wicked start for the 2nd season. Even if we don't aquire anyone else I feel that we have the team to get promoted and then take it from there. It will be interesting to see what we kind of 1st team chemistry we can come up with in the pre-seson games. Actually should try picking up a couple more C/SB's. Depth is key for us right now. We finished in 7th place.
