THE CHELSEA/J.A. REPORT

J.A.- We find ourselves bumped to 11th from 14th out of 20 spots in the LEAGUE and earning an important 3pts to go with it. The spirit of the team was back to normal today, everyone one was upbeat again "THE REGGAE BOYS WERE BACK!". Match result was 1-nil at home to COL. It was an exciting 1-nil match, they poured on the pressure the whole match but couldn't finish off their chances. Anguel had 2 to 3 chances but our defensive positioning only gave him weak off target headers. Only goal was by our super 2nd string CF who's been hot for us lately HORM.

THE CHELSEA/J.A. REPORT

CHELSEA- Played 2 saturday morning matches. Our first match against RENNES ended up 1-1. We played the 1st place team well holding the lead for at least 3 quarters of the match. DUFF popped one in for us and KALLSTROM for RENNES. Good game.
Next match was the anticipated one that everyone was waiting for, away to MARSEILLE D2 cup FIRST ROUND- Fisrt Leg. Their fans laid an unwelcome vibe down for us, we were very nervous. The result was a 3-2 win sending us thru to the next round against GETAFE. It wasn't the usual gritty, get down to business rival match especially for a D2 cup with next round riding on the line. Lots of goals though. DROGBA, GUDJONSEN and TERRY with a PK put us on the score board and for MARSEILLE MIDO and LUYINDULA.
Quick response from coach DRYDEN " I felt that the reason for it not heating up was that both teams knew that we had to play safe and not do anything stupid, too much at stake. We got sent thru and we played a well put together away game at an important time."

I started playing PES4 again. I find it more fun somehow, when compared to WE8I on my PS2.

Playing a ML with the create original team mode. I've named the team UPTOWN TORONTO. Just ended the first season in last place, it really is different quality from playing with CFC original team. I love the challenge. My plan is to get rid of some of the originals like VORNANDER, BAROTA, OSTUWAT etc and go young. Found this kid named POTTER seems to be a good OMF, only 19 from IRELAND (I think)hoping to try and develop him along. Now in pre-season/negotiation time hoping to find somemore good young prospects, oh I forgot about KORSTRAM from SWEDEN also 19 so far an okay SMF but quality wise not as good as POTTER. Just needs some development.

I recently found out about that and decided to start an ML with it (after my original game ended because of negative funds )

the AC Maple Leafs got rid of Barota, Ceciu and Minandi and their huge contracts, and replaced them with Sutto (C, Nakata (cheap) and Miccoli

won first 2 games, then lost a thriller to C-Palace, then lost thanks to an injury time goal to Vittesse

PS: I'd keep Vornander, he's the best defender on the team, easily

Kim Do Heon is a great player. He is way over his growing chart. And scores free kicks for fun.

Rony31 nice to see other T.O. katz up in here. I like VORNANDER too but for me I find him to be a little old for my recent revamping plan and I started using him as a sub SB because I found his stamina was to low to be a starter. Found a 19yr old SB named MALITILEZ(something along that line.) He will eventually slide in VORNANDER'S role when he's gone. I'm at the point I'll even release VORNI if I have to.
This is another reason why I love this game cuz everyone can coach to their own flavor with what seems to be hundred's of option, so many ways we can go. Also thanks for your advice Y2K.

its my third season, with a created team, i won the first division. sure i play on 3 stars, but thats because i suck . after the first season, finishing last i bought two koreans, one defender thats amazing, and a forward, also very good. some players left, still got Castolo/Huylens + that korean in attack . Macco, Ximelez on the wings, some 19 years olds all over the place .
i was wondering, can i change the difficulty to 4 stars, without losing all my team?

finished 2nd in my first season on 5 stars, got promoted, bought a few players in the off season... squad now looks like this:

Just murked RENNES 4-1. What a wonderful match it was, the best match I've played with the default lads. Still on 4*'s/acummulated fatigue/25 mins/injuries, away from home too. COSTOLO started everything off by cutting in off the right flank (had him playing SMF[R] for this match) and cracking a wonderful 29m strike into the top right corner. Then HUYLENS capped the night off with a hatrick performance giving our small pocket of fans on the road something to freak out about. Not surprisingly McFADDEN set up all three to HUYLENS from the left side playing WF. So our first 3pts of the season still in last place but it looks like we're finally coming together. Here is a response from coach PAPA D.
Coach P D- I hope this is the beginning of our team starting to gel, we're slowly finding out what we are capable of and each individual is starting to be aware of what they can and cannot do. We put a classic together and no one can take this one away from us, this will go down into the UPTOWN TORONTO archives. Really proud of the lads tonight because each and everyone of them exceeded all their ratings and played past their capabilties, the question is can we do this for the last 6 matches strait making a late run? I hope we can and from what I saw tonight we have it in us.

Well, i'm still playing PES3. From time to time, i always end up firing up a new Master League game with either Pool or Milan. Last time was with Pool, now i started a new one with Milan a few weeks ago. I'm currently on the 3rd season, things are looking good, after a very poor start. Started already losing to Panathinaikos and with like 5 or 6 games into the season i was 8th or 9th with 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss. Now i'm doing better and i've got 3 wins on the trot, i'm tracking Juve 2 points behind them at 2nd, they're first of course.

I've been thinking of buying a new left-back since Edingson is kinda slow against a few wingers and my left side ends up being exposed. I'll probably buy Jankulovski. One of the things i like the most in this ML team is that this time i have plenty of back-ups to choose from. The game is on 5 stars with all transfer stuff on maximum.
