Carlos*son had few nice punches after and Bader was visibly shaken, and Carlos*osn stood still, that cost him a lot at the end. And that throw could have ended very bad for Baders arm, very unconfortable landing.

Anyway, nice UFC event.

And Arianny did a good job! Though, that Japanese chick was good also.

This thread has been brought to my attention again by some a-hole who tried to start a new one, he didn't even have the decent courtesy to post anything interesting or insightful in the opening post.

So there was supposed to be an event this saturday between Jon Jones and Shifty Henderson (sick fight) but for the first time in the ufc's history an event was cancelled. A week ago Henderson got injured. The drama is that Jones was offered a different fighter but refused because he said there wasn't enough preparation time. The implications are that there was already a lot of money, promotion and preparation put into the event and the undercard fighters will not receive their fighting purse.

Vittor Belfort (Ko artist) is now scheduled to fight Jones at the next event (152), which takes place in Toronto. In a way it's better because I give Belfort a higher chance to pull off the win but at the same time I am still a Hendo fan.

Well, I agree, there was no way for Henderson to beat JBJ, Vitor looks very determined and he trains at blackzilians with Jones arch enemy Rashad Evans. Vitor has fast hands and great Jiujitsu, but he was active in middleweight last couple of years.

I give the first round advantage to Belfort but longer it goes, Jones chance will go up.

152 is a good card, first Flyweight champion will be determined + Bisping-Stann would be a sick fight.

Bj fights at 170 pounds and Rua at 205, he was talking about their own separate fights.


And most likely both of them will lose imo (especially BJ).

you may be right, but I heard BJ is in a great shape and mentally prepared and fired up for this match. It may be his last chance, he's small for 170 and a bit slow for 155.

Regarding Shogun, well prepared Shogun can beat anybody at 205, his cardio caused him inconsistency during last 2 years. I think he had to stay in KingsMMA.

Very good card though, and it's not even on PPV.

Btw, GSP acted like pussy again and refused to fight Silva, Nick Diaz camp is campaigning for Silva fight. I think Silva vs. Jones superfight or the winner of Bisping vs. Belfort will make more sense.
