HELP Mods aren't working after reinstalling FC 24

Hey, guys.

So, I've come across a rather frustrating problem. I was running FC 24 yesterday with around 10–12 mods, and they all worked. Today, I reinstalled my game, as one of the gameplay mods wasn't working as intended, so I thought a fresh installation would be good. Turns out, no mod is working after reinstalling FC 24. I purchased my copy from steam, so what I did was uninstalled it through steam and reinstalled. I use FIFA Mod Manager to install my mods. I've also put "-dataPath FIFAModData" in launch options. I run my game from the mod manager and also keep my EA app offline. No mods are showing up in the game, whatsoever. I am so frustrated right now, as I cannot play this game without mods now. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there,

So I have encountered the same issue, I will explain what’s happened and how I have a (kind of) fix.
I have been using my mods fine, for a good few weeks now.
Last night I logged in to play and my EA App updated (and seemed to be suggesting something about Anti-Cheat client needing to run)
I then loaded the game up and no mods were present.

I have then went into Steam-Properties and there is a button called “Verify files” or something like that. I clicked this option and then the mods loaded up perfectly again

however, when I exit the game and try to load it back up, I’m back to having no mods working again! So each time before I load the game I have to go into Steam, perform the verify files button again and then it works. Very annoying, to have to do this each time.

Hope this helps you some what, and if you happen to find a different method, please let me know.

Thanks for the reply, DekaVII. It seems there's a Title Update that dropped today. It could be that the EA App updated yesterday before the game could update today. I'll try to run the mods again as soon as they're updated to TU12, as they're all obsolete anyway as of today.

I am playing the game through Steam, how do I repair the game?

Someone suggested repairing it in EA App but I don’t have that option.

UPDATE: Mods are working again!

It seems timing was the main culprit in my case. Let me explain: I decided to uninstall my game, thinking that I'll reinstall it tomorrow. When I reinstalled it the day after, there was an update to my EA app that took place. However, my FC 24 game didn't receive an update, yet. Due to the EA app update, my mods stopped working. Today, my game updated and all the mods became obsolete. Some mods got updated just now, and I tried those, and they work fine! So, the issue was that the mods needed update, yet my mod manager didn't tell me that, as my game wasn't updated at that time. What a mess!

Hey guys! I have a similiar problem! I need to do game repair without fifamod data folder... and then to import mod again, every time when i exit game

Ok so the quickest and easiest method is
- verify files via steam
- go to installation location and you will notice 3 files it has updated via timestamp. Copy these files to a different location
- run your mods which should work this time, next time they stop working copy those 3 files over and replace the ones ea keep updating
