El Merengue Argentino
I think I can safely say that England is the team that every Argentine hates

There have been many scandals etween the two so there is o doubt it is the most hated in Argentina

Brazil is #2

South Korea for the WC2002 refereeing scandal

yes, that's it at least for me too, one good WC and their able to compete (in their eyes) with the best in the World...I'm tired of seeing threads where they place themselves in competitions like Euro qualifying and saying that based on the fact that such team is "weaker" than the US, they would surely make it thru...or one where an MLS teams was placed in the EPL and they were speculating that they would finish in the top 5 at least.....stuff like that specially in other forums....

Where exactly do you see those threads? I don't recall an SG thread that made either of those claims. Some individual posters may have said something like that, but those are few and far between.

The majority of US soccer fans on SG are very humble and realistic and very cautious with their predictions.

what's with all the hate for south korea? it's one thing if you're pissed off at them for beating portugal or spain or italy. ok, at least that's understandable.

but it's another thing to blame them for the referee's decisions. can anyone please tell me if they have any proof that the refs and the south korean national team conspired to beat portugal, spain, or italy? anyone? virgo? bbranco? william?

Italy...both the NT , there players and there National League players...btw who said brazil ?...thats a joke...this isnt the most loved NT

That pisses me off too - South Korea being hated because the refs helped them out. To me it was all a case of the host nation getting some "benefits" from the ref, which usually happens in tournaments like this. Hate the refs, not the team.

thank you.

i mean, seriously...i can understand spain's cause. i'll be the first to admit. they were cheated. but it was the refs. unless anyone can give me proof that the players, team, the kfa, and the refs conspired to beat spain, i'll rest my case. but in all fairness, spain lost on penalties.

as for italy, i'll give the benefit of the doubt on the offsides call and the totti red card. but italy, too, should never have been in that position. vieri missed an open goal and had he not missed that, the game would have been arguing and nobody would be complaining about the offsides call.

and for portugal, they played the entire match to draw and advance to the second round. when the news was hit that the usa team were losing to poland, they knew they just needed a draw and advance. in the second half, they took out pauleta to play more defensively and finish the match 0-0.

if you tell me that you hate the south korean national team because they beat your team, then fine. but if you're going to complain how they got the refs to blatantly cheat for them, then whatever.

Now see - Stunna hates the US national team for all the right reasons. THAT I understand. :D

Anyway here's my list:

1.Mexico
2.France
3.Argentina

(Can't say I hate France or Argentina, although I do dislike them)

I think it's not appropiate to mix political reasons in soccer, I mean they are very different things

Anyway here's my list:
1-France
2-Germany
3-Peru

as for the fans, I hate the US (not all of them)

I only felt the refs made major bad calls in Korea's favor vs. Italy and Spain. Spain basically got raped by the refs, Italy got robbed too but not as much.
