Well in that case I think you should have included on which platform you mean...
Because FIFA 98 on SNES and FIFA RTWC 98 on PC is definately NOT the same game...

Well, in my mind FIFA RTWC 98 is the best by far...
There are only two aspects that any later game could beat it and those are that you can't play consecutive seasons and the graphics...
There is no other FIFA (including FIFA 2001 & 2002) that is better! Not even close...

FIFA 98 and FIFA 99 are both very good, but FIFA 2000 is crap, its the worst of the series, in my opinion.

I always felt FIFA 99 was too scripted... You always scored the same goals and the tackling was too unrealistic... Not close to 98...
This was the game where the FIFA-pinball-soccer was invented...

Well this has been answered many times and its no secret that RTWC rules. If only there was ip play possible in it. 99 + sucked and we all know that. Theres only hope that next years version will be better.

fifa2001 is worst

I think fifa2001 is the worst of the series and I don't think as high of 98 as well..

the 99 series had to be continued, but they radically changed one way with 2000, and then turned 180degrees with 2001.
