boot type is not changeable.
Its in the exe file that says that only a few players like becks a others (like 15 or so) have specific boots, and the boots go with the face: if you put becks face to another player, then he will use becks boots too.

it is true that all players previously in 2002 and now deleted in 2003, can be put back with ease. if we no there 2002 id's then they can be placed straight back into the 2003 database, keeping their old id's
it seems EA have jus deleted them and not used the old id's for any other player.
when i put Kolo Toure into the arsenal squad, i set his id to 2, in the game the commentary was DIXON, an old retired arsenal player, who was in 2002 but now removed within 2003. i tried to put his speech id to that of another toure within the game, but still, motty says Dixon, the only way i have found is to remove the commentary by unselecting the fifapro option for the player. this in turn replaces the players first name with jus an inital!!!
this option is good news for putting old player back into their original id's but bad for adding players to these id's due to the commentary
has anyone bin able to overcome this??

Yes u can, if u add a team, u can add a kit for that team. Than using Kit Raptor (just change the team.ini to ur new teams ID) and add a kit for that team, after deselecting isgeneric in the kit table.Originally posted by DreamTim

Kits = don't add one but here you can change the base settings for kits (ID is not the team ID, but you need to check the Teams_table for the right ID)
You really shouldnt edit ANYTHING that has LUT or UI at the front. These are values used by the CC, to go in the combo boxes, etc. They arent put their to change, but to refer to (by the program and you if u need to).

Overcome it just by using ID's that are lower than the auto assigned, but havent been used before. There is plenty of them around. The database seems to have a few values that it doesnt use, such as Voice ID. It has them in the DB, but identifies the player using his ID number anyway.
