So heres the deal I have been working out for about 1 and half years and i have got myself to a decent size, i want to obviously aid this will some sort of protein shake and im wondering if anyone can recommend me anything good thats avilable in the UK and not too pricey, i work out 3 times a week and dont necessarily want to gain fat but lean muscle, I have heard cyclone maximuscle is quite good? what do u lot think?

My impression is that all that meathead milkshake stuff only serves to separate you from your money, and doesn't even come close in terms of benefits to just eating healthy food.

I don't really work out with weights or anything, but I'm pretty active in the spring/summer...and personally speaking when I get into a good eating routine (lean chicken (no skin), fish, whole grains, no type of sugar other than honey, and fruit and veg) combined with activity I can noticably see and feel the difference.

That's just what works for me though, everybody's different that way..

You have to consider minerals and vitamins, nut just proteins. You can take proteins but your body isn't going to do anything with them unless you eat/drink food with vitamins and minerals (specially calcium for bone-mass). And make sure that you do a lot of running. I try to play a variety of sports so that I don't have to work out as much.

3. Stop Asking the Guy at GNC for Advice — I'm going to make your supplementation decisions easy. This is what you need:

• Protein/Simple Sugars (Surge) for your workouts

• A protein blend (e.g. Metabolic Drive) for other times during the day

• Micronized Creatine, 5g after workouts

• Fish Oil (e.g. Flameout), 2-3g EPA/DHA everyday

Try there. It is full of muscleheads and macho idiots, but there are also some cool people and good advice.

(I went and trolled for a while for fun, but I found that there are actually decent forums)

Is that the forum with THAT thread about the drunk guy and the gheyness and the friend who videotaped it?

EDIT: YES
