Now I feel really meh about that Aussie chick. She'll never understand how I truely felt for her, all those things I did for her, and how much I appreciated her. No matter what I did it wasn't good enough for her to be able to see that. Her loss. She just used me for her own self-esteem never thinking about me in the slightest, and even when she did it was just an opportunity to make her feel good about herself and her "agency". Anyways, cut the BS. I'm looking at two basements for rent. One is at corner of Finch and Bayview (North York) and the other way is more northern at Bayview and Steeles (Thornhill). Can anyone tell me a bit about the hood? My black friend from Markham told me try not to get shot at Finch in North York. Anything else helpful?

PS: Sh1t, I'm almost crossing the border between SG and reality! Not good.

I agree that Finch in North York is a bit dangerous...I am still kinda new to toronto (been here for like 3-4 months) so you might wanna ask Carlos for more details

dude, Finch at North York is safe. I take the TTC home drunk at 4am every so often, which involves me getting off at Yonge/Finch and taking the Finch bus all the way west to Kipling. just don't venture too far west or east on Finch when it's dark out and you'll be fine. but North York is like 90% Asian, 10% everyone else. that's a safe bet.

I'm doing a 4-month coop work term there. I'm working for Apotex in Richmond Hill. Should be exciting times finally living alone, haha. As long as Rony doesn't come rape me like he said he would.

Yup I got my vehicle, so transit to work is not a problem. I looked into public transit at first, but $109/month for a transit pass and all the hassle is just not worth it.

I didn't know the subway operated that late? When I went downtown to party with my friend a couple months ago, the subway service stopped at 2AM.

Random PS: I saw a black people's nightclub near Yonge and Sheppard when I went to visit my friend. It was the first time I've seen that! I think it's interesting. I wonder if Yoss hangs out there.
