exact story like Jason Williams for the bulls a couple of years back. great potential, a budding star in the making... idiot decision to go crazy on a bike and was never the same. multiple surgeries later... done.

This whole bike thing is just based on some random blogger and his comments. Not exactly the most trustworthy and reliable source, so the "end career" and "bike" parts I won't believe until some trustworthy source (like say... Monta Ellis or GS) comes out and says that's what happened

Yep, no credible sources yet, but I mean, why in the world would Monta and his lawyers come out and say..."Yeah,I demolished my Goddamn leg street-racing on a death bike with my boys." The whole situation has been mired in intrigue and obfuscation from the get-go, and I think his camp feels that it is in his best interest to keep it that way, otherwise, this contract of his is gonna be voided right quick!

A ton of investigating has to be done before a sound conclusion is reached, but there have been a lot of rumors going around that, yes indeed, he recently purchased a high-end Ducati after signing his new contract, and that he's been known to hang around the street-racing scene back in his home of Carlos*son, Misissippi.

how smart was that? he already had knee problems at his previous weight... now imagine how his knees are going to react to a GRIND of an NBA season with the extra weight. should have used this season to acclimate himself and get his feet wet. He's a rookie... blazers are not going to win the 'ship this season, and oden should take it slow.

good call, bro. I was thinking the same thing when I read that he was putting himself through an intensive upperbody program shortly after his injury. It's one thing to keep active and maybe pack on 5-10pnds of muscle on your torso while yer recovering from your lowerbody injury, and another to put on some serious muscle, you know? But I'm sure that he was closely watched by the team doctors and physios and knows what he's doing.

I think its safe to say that they are gonna be the worst team in the NBA anyway but after seeing that right there it just makes that statement so much more true.

Apparently (according to some website..) Isaiah Thomas is in a hospital after taking 10 Lunesta sleeping pills.. Sleeping pill-overdose, nice one. Im truly an awful person for saying this, but after having to watch him coach a basketball team I can't really feel sorry for him. Some players should just stay players (even retired). I actually liked Isaiah as a player (his late 80s pistons are proly my all-time fav NBA team)
