Williams is legit.

Me on SG, June 28, 2005:

Thank you, thank you.

good call, bro. His mentality/abilities fit the Sloan offense almost perfectly.

That system is a true point guard's wet dream, man. And Williams is taking full advantage of all the control it gives 'em as the point man.

For the sake of entertaining basketball, we need a Suns x Warriors series in the Western conference finals. I hoping Golden State steals home court advantage tonight. The Suns need to steal it bak in game 3.

On another note: Lebron was spectacular yesterday. 36 points and 12 assists. Very impressive the way he can score alot and keep his teammates involved.

that dude is built like a ******* Tight End, man......jeez. Guarding him, when he's in that mode of attack, must be a total nightmare.

Anyone have a link to his combine specs? Or did he not even go through one?

LOLzer....it's cool to see that the nigga doesn't take himself too seriously....he's still a dumb****er for those comments he made about Starbury's inexpensive shoes, though.

The predraft camp for highly rated NBA draftees is really short. They do a sprint, jump once or twice, and do a few bench presses and they're done.

However, LeBron James was a First Team All-State Wide Reciever as a Sophomore in Ohio. Ohio, along with Texas, California, and Florida, produces the best football talent in the country, so that feat was really impressive.

I don't think so. If the Jazz don't win it in 5, I think they could sweep this thing.

I tell you, with Boozer as dominant as he has been this year, the Jazz are a tough out. Okur is very underrated and I'm sure the Pistons are upset they let him walk (even with C-Webb now) and Deron is totally legit. The statline also makes it look like AK-47 was back to his old self. Can anyone confirm if Kirilenko was looking like an NBA Defensive Player of the Year?

Yeah AK47 has gotten back to his old self slowly but surely.

As for the Jazz winning it in 5, how do you figure that? But of these first two games could of gone to GS if the ball had bounced their way, it's not as if the Jazz have been pounding them. That home crowd will push the Warriors to two victories, I don't think they'll win the series though.

Yea AK-47 was a big defensive block over these past two games....the number speak for themselves.... 6+ blocks/game.

SteauA is right, had the ball bounced Warriors' way, this series would've been at least tied right about now.

If Pietrus had made at least one of the two free-throws with under a minute to go, would've been a wrap.

Very strange game. This whole "I've no point guard", Fisher walking in in the 2nd half thing was just :S
Good tight game tho. Im amazed by the way the warriors whenever they are back with like 10+ points, they take a timeout and suddenly they they go into a run n gun frenzy mode, their opponents miss every shot/make turnovers and they just hit every frigin shot. We'll have to wait till that suspicious guy from the "watch the playoffs" thing makes one about the Warriors. He should know what happens in "that" timeout :p

What a ******* game.......WHAT DRAMA, man. The Warriors have nobody but themselves to blame for being in such a dire situation imo....both games were very winnable, especially last night's game.

Fisher talking about the life threatening and rare cancer that his daughter was inflicted with after the game got me all emotional, man.....sheesh!

Anyway, the ******* Warriors are done imo.....just by watching these last two games, you quickly find out why it took them like the last day of regular season play just to get into the playoffs....they're an absurdly stupid team (as though they were all plucked straight out of a streetball game and have never played a game of organized ball before) when it comes to the cerebral aspect of the game with running half court plays and all.

Anyway, it was a nice run while it lasted.

I wouldn't say they're done yet. They have an amazing record at home this season and they were one free throw away from winning yesterday. If they lose one at home, then I'll say that they're done.

Also, I agree that there isn't much strategy in the Warriors game, but you got to love their go for broke mentality.

Thats the Warriors Game, thats don nelsons game. Yeah they make mistakes, yeah they do take ..er... ill advised shots many times but if you take that away from them they just simply wouldn't be in a position to challenge for the game if they weren't playing like that. Their style is their greatest weakness but also their main advantage at the same time. Btw, imho they'd be in a much better position if Al Harrington had a better post game.

Man I just want to see a Warriors x Suns Conference final. Can you imagine the mayem that series would be?

yeah, same here, bro. But it's not gonna happen....just my pessimism I suppose.

Has Ginobili even shown up yet in the playoffs? When he does, combined with Duncan's MVP like post-season playing, they'll roll the Suns imo.
