Thanks mate, thank you all this has been a great season.

Pre-season top 12 (stolen from Dicky V).

1. Connecticut
Yes, Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun is losing Charlie Villanueva to the NBA draft, but the Huskies are still loaded. Talented forward Rudy Gay will be a super soph. Big man Josh Boone also will be a force up front. Point guard Marcus Williams was one of the most improved players in America this past season. Sharpshooter Rashard Anderson will be healthy. And the addition of 7-foot center Andrew Bynum will help. I feel that Calhoun will get national championship No. 3 in Indianapolis.

2. Duke
The inside-outside tandem of center Shelden Williams and guard J.J. Redick will return for coach Mike Krzyzewski. A solid recruiting class will offset the question of depth from this past season. Having Josh McRoberts, Greg Paulus, Jamal Boykin and Eric Boateng gives Coach K one of the premier classes in the nation, arguably the best. And don't forget, perimeter guys like Sean Dockery and Lee Melchionni also will help.

3. Kentucky
Coach Tubby Smith's team will return four starters, and with the year of experience together, they should be even stronger. The Wildcats just missed the Final Four this year, losing in double overtime in the Elite Eight. Point guard Rajon Rondo and big man Randolph Morris will return as super sophomores, and guards Patrick Sparks and Kelenna Azubuike also will return. Watch out! The fans of Big Blue in Lexington could be celebrating in Indianapolis at this time next year!

4. Villanova
I can hear coach Jay Wright screaming at me not to pick his team so high! Guess what, the Wildcats have so much talent and experience that they will challenge for the national championship. Names such as Allan Ray, Randy Foye, Curtis Sumpter, Jason Fraser, Mike Nardi and Kyle Lowry make this club a legit contender.

5. North Carolina
If center Sean May and forward Marvin Williams come back, coach Roy Williams will have quite a team. I'm assuming point guard Raymond Felton and guard Rashad McCants will go to the NBA; if they don't, look for the Tar Heels to be ranked even higher. A recruiting class led by Tyler Hansbrough, Bobby Frasor, Danny Green and Marcus Ginyard helps. The defending national champions will be heard from!

6. Michigan State
Returning the likes of Maurice Ager, Paul Davis and Shannon Brown, the Spartans are contenders for another Final Four trip. Coach Tom Izzo has been to the Final Four four times in the past seven years.

7. Wake Forest
If point guard Chris Paul comes back, Wake will contend. If he doesn't, the ranking will slide a bit. Having center Eric Williams and guard Justin Gray returning puts a smile on coach Skip Prosser's face.

8. Washington
The Huskies will lose senior guards Tre Simmons and Will Conroy, and point guard Nate Robinson could go to the NBA. If Robinson comes back – along with Bobby Jones, Brandon Roy, Jamaal Williams, Mike Jensen and an incredible recruiting class – coach Lorenzo Romar could have a Final Four contender. Martell Webster (assuming he doesn't go to the NBA early) and Jon Brockman headline one of the top recruiting classes in America.

9. Oklahoma
Coach Kelvin Sampson expects big men Taj Gray and Kevin Bookout to return up front, plus Drew Lavender in the backcourt.

10. Texas
With forwards P.J. Tucker and LaMarcus Aldridge expected to return, the Longhorns will contend in the Big 12. Point guard Daniel Gibson will be one of the nation's premier super sophs.

11. Louisville
Coach Rick Pitino has a super recruiting class coming in, and this ranking could be higher if talented forward Francisco Garcia passes on the NBA and returns to school.

12. Iowa
Coach Steve Alford has his main weapons returning, including guards Jeff Horner and Adam Haluska and forward Greg Brunner.

El Merengue Argentino
McCants officially declared for the N.B.A. Draft today.

No not really I could care less clown :fool: the next season is comin and its comin fast and you guys will struggle gettin 20 wins while getting raped by Duke in the process. I can't wait!!

Don't even try to say that we will struggle next season, Roy will pull his magic. But unlike when dook wins the title our players have NBA potential, I say let them go they have no more business in the college game. Ray (still undeclared) to the Lakers, Sean (undeclared) to the Pacers, Marvin (I dont even think he's declared yet) to the Utah Jazz, McCants to Phoenix and Jawad to Detroit. Carlos*ie could very well end up in the NBA with his fab defense to a team like Detroit but he has other more important papal duties to take care of first. Pope Carlos*ius http://www.autositeplus.com/pope2.jpg

PS: Greg Paulus is the next Bobby Hurley *not a complement*, and about as ugly too.

Last time I checked Boozer, Battier, Dunleavy, JWill (before the accident :() are all doing pretty damn well in the NBA...

PS: 2001 championship team if u didn't get my drift...

All on ****ty ass teams mind you. Total NBA Championships by Tar Heel players, 20+ total by dookies, i think 2 (danny ferry and jeff mullins back in the 70's). Get my drift?

And you will wait a good seven months dawg. Meanwhile the Heels are the champs and your daddy. dook has a great freshman class, but they are only freshman, if you ask me losing daniel ewing is a bigger loss than ugly boy paulus is a gain. Come March and April, JJ will not show up again in the big dance, Sheldon will not stay out of foul trouble from a neutral non-ACC ref for 6 straight games and dook will be out come the Elite Eight. They are still a 2-man team, and that lil girl Shav will be keeping the pine warm the whole time, what a waste of a scholarship................

You seriuosly think that IF Felton, May, Williams along with McCants, Williams and Emanuel leave that you will not struggle? What a joke, who's gonna be your go to guy Noel? And no unc is not my daddy the championship has come and gone and the week of braggin rights that carolina fans had is gone now and if they bring it back now they just seem like weak pussies who are afraid of next year.

PS: last time I checked the players don't choose the teams the teams choose the players :fool:

That was my personal mock-draft. Anyway who's to say the SheWill is stayin in school, if you ask me school and him were never meant to be. I know we will struggle a little but the entire ACC will be down due to mass defections so I'm not too worried, especially since I witnessed the mayhem that was Franklin St. on April 4 2005, I think schooll should take precedence next year until dook comes to town no? And I got two words for your ass, Reyshawn Terry.....

Yes, North Carolina will have 20-25 wins next season. Not good at all for us, but we will be in the NCAA Tournament because well, we're the defending champions and we're an ACC team. :ewan: (I hate the Big-11 ERRRRRR Big-10...retards)...and I was glad it was Illinios who had the pleasure of losing the University of North Calina Tar Heels. Put a nice end to their story. Anyways, we'll make the sweet-16 to everyone's surprise but won't go any further...I think. (H)

So to sum it up for you SteauA, we ARE the current big dawgs and will be the dominating team in all of the NCAA for, I preditct about a pretty long time because I'm thinking they'll be recruiting players of the caliber of lets say...Stackhouse, Carter, Wallace, Jamison, McInnis, Haywood, Cota...who dominated at the college level. Next season you WILL be more dominant, but won't win a championship. So after that we're thinking of bringing someone like O.J. Mayo...and don't let the name surprise you because even though he's the = of Dwane Wayde + LeBron James all in ONE. He's still a sophmore and has said he'd like to go to Cincy, but then there's the NBA...but you want to do somethig special...say something like what Michal Jordan did. Win a championship with a baby-blue jersey that is now considered the best ever. yes, UNC is his third option. Gotcha thinkin' din't I?

I'm dead serious about O.J. Mayo. He WILL be lured by Roy Williams, UNC tradition, and the pride of being the next Michael Jordan...and yes *gigles* O.J. Mayo is the real deal. NO BULLSH*T.

Enjoy your very short :drevil: dominance :drevil: next season, ...and those Shushesky rumors of him leaving to the NBA, he won't turn them down a second time, trust me.

$teauA, I don't know if you follow recruiting much but in the high school class of 2006 all 31 top players have Carolina listed as one of their schools they are considering, while dook only has 9. Carolina has the best PG, SG, SF and PF and C (although he will probably jump to the NBA). Though all will most likely not attend UNC, this title for Roy will absolutely prove that he can win the title and the recruits will come rolling in from here until whenever. .....
