Can't believe I just noticed this thread today!! :( had to look all the way through the 11 pages...

Thanks INFESTA for suggesting that we have our own people in the game, I've just applied to have my character in the heart of the Newcastle midfield (also hoping for captaincy) :)

Seems like a it's going to be a fun game, really like the style of the characters... looking forward to it now.

what about the other players?(the ones that are not people who registered) do you intend to give them names like R.Kardos or Bonaldinho or just go for completely random names?

I haven't given that much thought to be honest.. but using slightly modified names is certainly an option, and very commonly used too..

Most importantly though is that it'll be super easy to modify teams and names etc. There'll be an in-game editor and in addition all team files will be based on .xml meaning you can open all files in any text-editor and modify them.. and copy them to your friends etc.. =)

Think you should NOT go for the "slightly modified" names, like Roberto Larcos... go for some original names, that's my opinion anyway, would suit the game much better! Brazil's Allejo was a legend on ISS Deluxe.

I posted the link on a Newcastle forum, and they seem to be plenty that have signed up to the "name in the game" thing :)

Thx! - As for progress we're showing most everything we've got so far in this video - we've kept a few things for ourselves for later though.

Its a part-time only project yes, and its our only project at the moment..

I don't know what a kit raptor programme is, but we'll make it easy to change kit designs that's for sure! =)
