I'm not convinced Hawk will be a good NFL player. He seems incredibly slow for an Outside Linebacker.
You're just hatin' on A.J because he's white and being white yourself, you see your own kind as being an inferior calibre of athlete to the Negro.
The dude tested better than the "athletic freak" Urlacher in almost every category except for the bench (did something like three reps less) A flat 4.5 in the 40yrd to BU's 4.65, 40 inch verticle to BU's 34, 3.97 in the shuttle to BU's 4.18. I mean, he's a bit smaller, but I think with a years worth of development physically plus the off-season, he'll easily pack on 10-15 pounds of muscle without really compromising his quickness. Honestly, man, I think he's sufficiently capable of playing on the outside, but he'd be better suited for the MLB. I'm not saying that he's a pure pass rusher by any means, but he's also no slouch either, man.
He's aptly named as the Hawk, man. Very intelligent both on the field and off. Laterally quick, excellent instinct, vision, and he's more than capable to run down almost all RBs and strong enough to take down any TEs, man.
Be happy, your D desperately needs a dude just like Hawk.

With that offense we have now, and the stadium being less than 3 miles from my house... Ill be there for the home opener.
DG literally jzzed his pants with delight with that pick.
